not some fricking Holiday Inn.  If they aren't a five diamond (AAA) hotel, they probably have at least 4.  And anyone you call would be dying to head over there for an appointment.

(This is a follow-up to an earlier query.) I'm considering staying at the Four Seasons next trip and am wondering about the overall atmosphere there.  I gather that there's no heavy security check--but is it too decorous, too polite, too quiet and exclusive?  I like the hubbub-anonymity of some of the big hotels--and I'm a little worried that the Four Seasons might be too posh.  I imagine myself under the disapproving gaze of the front desk, elevator operators, etc.    Any thoughts?  Do you (both guys and dolls) feel comfortable there?  Sorry if this seems uptight; I'm a planner and don't like surprises.
As always, all information is greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

We are also talking Vegas here. Hotel employees, especially at your finer properties, are trained to be descreet. Don't cause a scene in public and you'll be fine.

You should also talk to the lady. Ladies that have been working in Vegas for a while will know the operating procedures at all the hotels. And I agree, you'll have no problem arranging a meet at the Four Seasons. In fact, I suspect you'll have plenty of volunteers.

which opens April 28th....I read about it in USA Today yesterday.....It cost 2.7 BILLION!, making it most expensive LV hotel; rooms start at $249 & all have flat screen TV's, marble baths, & floor-to-ceiling windows......There are 18 restaurants & even a Ferrari dealership there.....

I mean, the Four Seasons nightly room cost is probably similar, but I would try Wynn Las Vegas since it's brand new....

I'm curious why you are worried about attracting disapproving gazes?

As a single girl and frequent traveler trying to survive in the dating scene, I've gone on numerous blind dates where we met in a public area of a hotel--including the lobby of the Vegas Four Seasons--and we were both very comfortable doing so.  Why would meeting for ~this~ type of date be any different?

If you are worried about the lady and her ability to blend in, then reconsider your selection of both lady and hotel.

Be careful of hobbying at Wynn. There head of security used to be the county Sheriff.

I certainly apologize if there was any implication that i am embarrassed about meeting a provider--not at all.  I've had great luck in Vegas getting to know smart, friendly, entirely great women.  One of the nicest things about many of them is that they're up for a drink before going upstairs.  My guess is that providers are more often embarrassed by me :)
But do i really have to explain why "*this* type of date" is different?  It seems self-evident to me that there's a lot at stake for both parties and I wouldn't want to put either of us at risk.  Providers should take every precaution, including verify clients and screen hotels; i'm going to do the same.  I can only point to one response (to my earlier post) indicating that some ladies at the Bellagio have run into problems coming down from the rooms.  I am asking my question not only for my own concerns but also for the providers.
