Hmmmmm.... From what I've seen on other posts (TBD), it makes sense. Lady Sylvia speaks arabic with an acsent-she learned arabic in school. And, though she is from the US, she has been known to fake a British acsent. She portrays herself as a "sophisticated" world traveler. However, her "travels" are always to the middle east with a short stop over in Europe. She is always accompanied by old Mohamed, who is an ugly, spoiled, silly, married, Moselm, who has nothing going for him but gobes of oil money. It sounds to me like the guy is half crazed (see other posts). Anyway, she could have--and probably has--tried to extracate herself from the situation, but the isolation, intimidation, and financial dependancy have taken there tole. I hope she still has it in her to get some help.

i ran into sylvia at a small southern california university. she lives in an apartment near the campus and is attending the university part-time. she is totally dependant upon and controled by the sizeable male arab community that surrounds the campus. she has a wealthy, married, arab "boy friend", who is a citizen and resident of the united arab emirates, who pays her rent, tuition, bought her a car, etc., and who has close ties with the arabs who live around the campus. she is still escorting, but she is under incredible duress because of the increasing "demands" of her "boy friend" and the local arabs. she is isolate, miserable, stressed out, looks terrible, wants it all to end, etc. it's a bad situation.

Did you read the one about the canaries? Did you read the one about the threatend suicide attempts? How does this happen?

I've read them and it would be laughable accept for the fact that Sylvia is not the same person she was a year ago. The situation has driven her crazy, if not bonifidably insane..
Just a thought, maybe this time she could relocate to London and work on that British acsent and another graduate degree. It seems that everytime she gets in striking distance of a graduate degree, something comes up in old Mohamed's life, and he has to withdraw from the deal before she's quiet finished. How long can you be the high class, sophisticated, "puting myself through college" type of provider. This graduate school scam has happened three times in the last 8 years, and she ain't getin' any younger. These arab jerks have really given this provider a royal screw job, time and time again. One time she went to Abu Dhabi with old Mohamed so they could get married, so she says, and the guy wouldn't do it. Then, she was "pursueded" to procure another provider from England, so old Mohamed and his brothers and friends could party for a week or two. There are subtle economic things that are exerting tremdous pressure on this girl. Maybe she's doing it for the money, but she seems really broke and really miserable..anyway, my e-mail is [email protected]
