of the boards i've seen, TER certainly is the most active, and that counts for A LOT.
however,,,one deceptive thing about the TER board is that it allows providers to post their ads...this fills up a ton of space on a board where i only care to discuss subject matter. i prefer a board without all that clutter. a seperate board for anouncements would suit the providers better also, imo, because they would be easier to spot.
my specialty are the amps,,,so pics are almost worthless, because all the amps bait and switch.
i think TER folks are missing out on some fine places because they are locked into online sites. and btw,,,those every places are missing out on some well deserved publicity.
it's a tough call, to be sure, so i guess one must visit a few sites. i combine TER with UTOPIA, which gives info i could NEVER get from TER.
i have a suggestion/major gripe about the policy at TER.
it is TER's standard policy about not accepting reviews of places with no web-site.
first of all, there is a large segment of providers who don't have a presence on the internet. several of my reviews on excellent massage providers were fortunately able to slip in. the TER members have a right to see ALL the info on ALL providers, so cutting out non-web based providers is a disservice to the members. unfortunately, there were also two reviews on really great russian massage gals that were turned down. i was thoroughly pissed that these reviews never saw the light of day.
secondly, members rely on other members opinions,,,,so website or no, what difference does it make if they see a PARTIAL, pixilated image of a provider or not? if i say this gal was a frigging 10 in looks, and give a good description, TAKE MY WORD FOR IT! it's my rep at stake too, after all.
anyway,,,bottom line is, two of the absolute best i've ever been with never got a review at TER. that's unfortunate for everyone here. AND,,that place has since closed.....that's unfortunate for me.
The TER database can be only SO big. There are already over a third of a million ladies reviewed on the site, with multiple reviews for most ladies and some with multiple pages of reviews. So TER is specialized in online ladies. Since TER is by far the best database for online ladies, it is doing a damn good job. Not to mention the fact that TER offers free membership to many reviewers. Tough to pay for the extra database room with so many not paying for the service.
I have no idea what you are talking about in the second item. Lost of ladies have no pics on their sites but have reviews. What are you talking about?
What loss is there for not having reviews for ladies working at a place that no longer exists and you have no idea where they are?

clearly, the notion that something gets lost in the translation is evident here, because i have no idea what you are reading into my post, especially your question about the second part of my post. what are YOU talking about? i mean,,,just what is this "lost" business you're talking about? i never used the word "lost". lost what?
to elaborate. the second part of my post is mainly to point out that we are all here to exchange EXPERIENCES. that's what the reviews/ratings are all about. and we can network over the whole continent. the pics are the least important aspect of this internet thing. and to my way of seeing, pics are the only thing that seperates the website providers from the non website ones. which brings me back to my gripe of why.
a web presence doesn't legitemize a provider, and in the meantime, some excellent providers go unawares. your database argument doesn't hold water with me.
The pictures are what matters, right along with good reviews. If there are no pictures, or pictures that are exposed as not being the person on the site, I pass on that person.
i've done a few reviews on massage gals who had no web presense. those reviews were able to slip in.
would you trust my review?
yes, i know,,,,we all like to see images. but take my review on linda and julia, for instance. i wrote both up great, and they have no pic(obviously). i would only hope that someone out there can trust what i say. i know that i try to find a reviewer i can sync with....at which point, images mean nothing. i trust him.
images are not always what they seem anyway. what i also go by is the consensus opinion. if a gal has great reviews from a number of people,,,that's good enough for me. it's always an adventure anyway. let's face it,,,THAT'S part of the allure,,,,the adventure.
for me,,,the adventure is seeing what the gal really looks like. THE ONLY SURPRISE I DON'T WANT is getting ripped off. and that's what the reviews are all about, imo. i think the core importance of TER and any other website like it, is to keep us all from getting ripped off. there are countless "hey check out this babe's site...are there any reviews on her",,,am i right?
and that is why i think non web gals are worth the effort too.
Your reviews are probably fine. I haven't read any of them because none of the women you've seen have ever come up in my searches. So that right there tells me we have different likes.
As far as looks go, I rely on what I see in the picture. I don't rely on someone else saying she's a knockout or she's a 10. I never did understand what everyone saw in Bo Derek. Some guys like BBW, others like very petite women, some men like men, and others like TV's.
I'm a visual guy, and if the woman isn't attractive to me, I won't have a good time. That's why I don't bother with someone with no pics or even worse, pics of someone else. And if you look at my reviews you can see that I like women of all shapes and sizes. It all depends on my mood.
There are many web sites that do not include pictures of the lady. I also pass on these. Just personal preference.
With regards to reviews of women without web sites, I have also asked this question sometime ago. My suggestion was to post reviews of ladies with no web site but NOT count these reviews toward VIP membership. I agree with you that sharing our experiences is what's important.
