Politics and Religion

Actually the sentiment expressed is more in line with an agnostic, not an atheist

Atheists are absolutely certain that there "is no god" with no more proof to go on than those who practice religion.

There is no shame in simply admitting that you just don't know, and that you are not likely to ever know.

There is something really crazy being human.

I feel sorry for the rest of animals that were here before. But they're ok

because I don't know and I don't care. I'm not likely to ever know.

The god of the bible cannot possibly exist because it is just one of the list of so many others.
it is a god that created the whole universe for us and then he chose some people among people to be his people.
and everything in the bible happened in a small area of the Middle East while everywhere else people had their own believes.

But who am I to know what is out there. Just in case there was (is) some intelligent being or beings who were there before us and created us for whatever reason... they were bored, for experimentation, for amusement or whatever. Like my friend the homeless guy would say, "So what? what do you want me to do?".  The believer would tell him to worship that thing if it exists.
But my friend would say, "why? It's the god in the bible that ask you to worship him. But if there is someone out there...They haven't ask us to worship them. maybe it doesn't even remember it created us forgot us or don't care about being worshiped all the time and don't have use for human money.

i was reading this. It makes sense. That explains why I wish there was a hell. I also if asked about my religion I say I'm "nothing in particular". The article is stupid to say that religion is good for the continued existence of humanity... and the Christians applaud.  But when talking about south east Asia and Africa you're not always talking about Christianity. But they read this and they think is about them and it's on their side: http://media-cache-ec0.pinimg.com/originals/c6/cb/ec/c6cbec6dbd3ed42194f0747b35bc6131.jpg
