Maybe one of your references said something negative.

Once a guy gave me two references.
One didn't remember him (although she seemed a bit unorganized overall).
The other said he was a stalker who called and texted like crazy afterward and even showed up at her apartment unannounced once.

I couldn't tell the guy what she said, because I couldn't rat her out. So I made up an excuse to cancel our appointment, and ignored his calls and texts in the future.

It is possible that she wasn't telling the truth, for whatever reason.
But he WAS texting me several times a day alread , before even seeing me.
Regardless, I can't take the chance.

Last night in NY and I made arrangements to meet someone reviewed and they blow me off. Then I find another reviewed provider who agrees to meet and she blows me off.

Can't anyone keep an appointment in this town?

His review scores are all pretty much consistent with other reviewers of the gals he has seen. His reviews are concise and don't seem disparaging or disrespectful.

It would be just as easy to guess it is more an issue of who he sees and how he selects them. Why choose gals you find plain and can expect to be mediocre in performance, knowing so in advance? Why not choose to see someone you find attractive?

Let's not forget that he hasn't posted a review since 2009, and it seems only 1 or 2 providers he has seen are still active. Maybe a current reference issue?

Of course, we don't know if there is maybe a BL out there (justified or unjustified).

Perhaps most likely, there is something in his communications with a provider after being screened and scheduling that put them off. Perhaps a special request, lack of tact or respect in requesting... endless possibilities along those lines.

I'm just pointing out that there are MANY more likely possibilities than review scores, and that encouraging the trading of high review scores in exchange for opening provider doors is not necessarily going to be the answer, nor is it in the best interests of anyone involved.

a correlation between reviewers and client behavior. I am going to start paying more attention to reviews when screening clients. The chronic low scorers tend to have a form of "buyers remorse" or tend to view every session from a "half empty perspective". One phrase that I commonly see she "wasn't perfect" "wasn't the best but" I am so curious as to why these types of guys even hobby, and on top of that expect a certain level of service.  As the other poster said, you write reviews and yet almost every lady you saw had bad reviews, its almost as if you bring it on yourself.

So I'd say two things that would dissuade me from seeing you would be, the fact that your reviews are so old, and your frequent low scores. Just from your post you can tell your way of thinking. Two people blew you off and you say "Cant anyone keep an appointment in this town" without even thinking for a second, that you may in fact be the problem

yes, as a fellow provider I agree here 100% but don't give away too much of how we actually think here...there is nothing worse than an angry or emotionally unprocessed client pretending to be nice! LOL
