Any info on security at MGM?

I know that this topic gets covered every so often but here goes.  I tend to play a cautious game and I'm no fan of walking a date past security to get to  the elevator/room.  I usually stay at the Mandalay Bay which is perfect--cool, adult, discreet, and no hassles.  But it looks like I may be staying at another hotel next trip (because I want a two-bedroom suite and MB apparently doesn't do that on weekends).  So: what about the Four Seasons?  it looks very posh and perhaps like it might tend toward a lot of surveillance and security.  Anyone know?  And what about the Venetian, Bellagio, Caesars, or Paris?  I know the casinos but can't remember anything about security at the elevators.  I don't need a big run-down, just help figuring out which hotels are user-friendly, which make you show ID and which look the other way, which cause heart palpitations.
thanks--this board is an enormous help to us out-of-towners.

Harrah's sounds like it has the worst.

Outside of that, a good percentage of the major hotel/casinos will post security at the guest elevators in the evenings/nights.  Personally, I appreciate it more for keeping people off the guest floors (do you want to find kids running around using your floor for a playlot?).

FWIW, a lot of the providers do have ways of getting around the security at the elevator so they can just come straight to your room.  You'll have to ask if they can at the property you're staying at.

Four Seasons is just the same as MB as far as security goes. Caeser's has no security either.

The Venetian has security at the elevators.  Just a few nights ago I saw a girl who was visiting from out of town, did an incall at her room in the Venetian.  I had to be escorted past the security guard at the elevators.

Thank you all for your responses, and for the link to the discussion last month (which i had missed).  I'm glad to hear that the Four Seasons is mellow about this; i love those views.  And I guess I'm not entirely surprised to hear about the Venetian. ... I'm not so naive that I don't know about surveillance everywhere in panopticon city.  And i'm willing to believe that the employees are indifferent to guests behavior--although if they're looking to monitor or discourage the hobby then the elevators are a good place to do it.  I'm really not paranoid, just prefer the illusion of anonymity, prefer to avoid the insecurity of passing security, and prefer to have a friend come straight up to the room without needing my presence or their own borrowed card....  Thanks again.

The Bellagio posts a man in a red jacket at the very wide and busy entrance that leads to the elevator lobbies.  Guests just have to flash their keys to him as they walk by.  Meet your date in the gift shop across from that entrance and then escort her up as though the two of you are any other normal couple, and you will be fine.  He will not check you other than visually (no stopping you for an ID check), and once you go by that main entrance you will be waiting for the elevator in relative privacy.  It's actually less intimidating IMHO than at the Luxor, where you are likely to stand with your date for a few moments in front of a guard while waiting for a ride.

The MGM Grand has no security at the elevators.

...the Venetzia (I believe), you will still have to go past security, but its at least a little more private. Cesears, just the same, unless you are staying in the tower that is just past the Appian way (I think its the Palace Tower). Bellagio is being a bitch right now and 86-ing girls as they come down from rooms. Paris is a big no-no no matter what you do, thier security are like sentinals!; they will hunt you down... your best bet, if you want class and privacy is to go for the Hilton (not that classy but still nice), sometimes the Luxor, the Monte Carlo, or The Tuscany...

Did you ask about the Mandalay Bays' new tower, the Hotel @Mandalay? They dont have security...
