What about giving your tax-id #?  At least here, you can look up anyone through the state's website for thier company and when they started it.

I have some questions about seeing a PSE through an agency like bodymiracle or bellamodels, etc.  I am interested in seeing a PSE through one of these agencies, but I have a problem...I'm self-employed.  This means I have no work number through which I can be verified, since I answer my own business phone.  I realize that many independent PSEs can verify clients through other means, but is there a way to go through an agency if you are self-employed?  Is there any other info they can use to verify you other than a work phone that goes through a switchboard/operator?  If anybody knows, please fill me in.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Depending on the agency, most will verify you by other means just as an Indy. Just be honest with them, even if you answer you own phone that can work as they can easily trace the number and verify it is your work number. I personally would not recommend giving your tax ID number, that is the same as giving out your social security number. If your business has a website or any advertizing with you listed in it, that is always helpful.
