When I was 20 years old, I moved into a 2 bedroom apartment with my girlfriend from High School.  Long story short, a year later, we were worst enemies.  Plus if one person defaults on the lease, your credit could ruined...  The money saved by splitting rent is just not worth all the headaches.

Any girls looking to move into a nice pad in midtown?
How convenient, HONEST, and open would it be to live with another provider!?

I need a place ASAP so if anyone has any leads on studios,1 beds or girls who are looking to get a nice 2 bed in Midtown...
PM me :-)

You can confirm that the person is honest, trustworthy, transparent and more importantly sane.

The idea sounds great but when I think about it I could be setting myself up for major trouble not truly knowing the person... If only!

I don't have a roommate right now and have a place of my own in the DC area. But it's DC, my place would be an arm and a leg here in Manhattan. Adding $3 or $4k rent to the equation of college bills, and all the rest does not sound fun. Then again I end up spending that on hotels while balancing everything else.  So we'll see..... I've never dealt with Manhattan brokers alone which is why the idea of a housemate was intriguing. I know getting an apartment for myself here would help me save immensely. So living alone is a good idea.....just a stressful process to go through alone x

im in DC as well....
pm me:) Im interested in sharing an incall

No matter what business they work in, you should be extremely careful when considering a roommate. I had one last year who would walk into my room unannounced at times when I was sleeping and when she moved out, stole 3k+ of my things and tried to sell my underwear on Ebay. I also found out that she had been writing about my personal life on a public forum for several months. Scary stuff. If you have to get a roommate, do a background check.

Would you barter if someone leased a studio and gave you full access?
It would put a new spin on the 'sugarbaby' title.

That's a pretty standard SD/SB arrangement. Whether the lady goes for it is another matter entirely. I'm not going to get involved in that one.
