I tried to post it on the general board to no avail.  Food was (well, duh) GREAT, the city was as I remembered it.  Ms Manae was unavailable during my free times.  I opted for an agency girl with limited reviews, against all sound advice.  It turned out OK, but she looked seriously spaced out.

I was looking to take the little lady to an in-town vacation this weekend, but rooms seem exceptionally scarce.  I know that most of my life is spent under a rock, but is this weekend hosting some big event?

The National Association of Broadcasters convention (which is expecting 132,500 attendees) opens on Monday.  Perhaps many of the attendees are arriving in town early to have fun before beginning the convention.

LPGA golf event (Takefuji Classic)
UFC event (Couture vs. Liddell)
I don't think John Tesh at the Suncoast counts. :-)
NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) brings in 110,000 people to town.

I can't even IMAGINE having 110,000 broadcasters in the same city at one time. I'll bet the girls have some great stories...

it is spring break-some hotels have been booked for months. of course if you are VIP-they block rooms for you.
