...I'd say make TER admin aware. Show them your evidence. I don't know if there is any policy one way or another regarding this since the fake pic or pics aren't in her TER ad (or are they?)

It seems to me they'd want to know and take some action.

Saw an ad for a new-to-TER provider on the New York Ad Board. At this point, she has no TER page. Checked out the link to her website and saw it was loaded with fake pics. I mean, I know the name of the porn star whose pics she was ripping off. Is it appropriate to call her out in a reply to the ad or on this Board or is that just being a prick?

P.S. The ad specifically says, in caps: "PLEASE DO NOT PM ME !!"

The only time fake pics are OK is when the provider says "These pics are not me, but they are a fair representation of my general appearance." Or  something to that effect.

Women don't have to give up their privacy, but the bait and switch of using fake pics is definitely something to warn us about.

Yes, it IS appropriate to call out fake pics, but not on the ladies actual ad. Admin can, and sometimes will moderate you for "shitting on a providers ad" even if said ad deserves being shit on.

OTOH, you are completely free to do so on this board, or any other regional board where you find a provider posting fake pics, and it's really a PSA to do so and save some other guy from falling for a scam.

I am not condoning "shitting on a providers ad."  That sort of thing is totally deserving of getting moderated.

However, I believe that its allowed to honestly point out if the providers is using someone else's pics, or otherwise is being dishonest in the ad.

However, I am not a mod here.  Perhaps one of them will chime in to clarify.

and even though I was a mod, even I cannot tell you with certainty what present management will and will not allow on an ad post. It is a judgment call by whichever mod happens to moderate any particular board at the time.

Some mods will pull any negative comments on a providers ad, whether it's true or not has little or no relevance. Some mods will ride the fence on this, and others seem to be just plain asleep at the wheel and will only act if prompted to by RAP.

My only point was to caution the OP from taking an action that "could" get him moderated.

I think there may be an area here just for that kind of thing, no? I'm new to the board, but they should have them.

And that is also a good place to post this kind of thing if you have access.  But that does no good for anyone who doesn't have access to the RO Board, for which you need at least ten reviews and a good posting history to gain admittance.

are you sober again??? lol

but yes, that is not a bad place to post warnings, but you will warn more potential "victims" if you post it right here.

He asked about an un-named board that might exist.  He doesn't even know the name of it. Is that not obvious? So if he's a noob he could have heard about the board and know nothing about it.  Get it now? You really are not firing on all cylinders today, GaG.  Try reading his post again, then mine.  You may get it.
I think you need to get back to Costa Rica and get your head on straight again. LOL!

GaG is right that you'll get edited more on the actual Ad ...

Fake pic warnings should be posted here on the NY (or other) regional boards, not under her ad posts.

Yes, this means all ad posts should be taken with a grain of salt, and a review of her reviews is always our best option before making making contact.  It is what it is...
