Maybe you're not Hispanic, but Cubans do stand by other Hispanics. I personally watch Spanish news and their team is a mix on every channel, Mexican, Puerto Rican, Cuban, Colombian, etc. But those seem to be the most dominant. They are a like to many other Hispanic nations, the language spoken is the same, religion is the same, ethnic demographic is similar to many. You have to watch Hispanic/Spanish news or tv shows to see that the statement really makes no sense. You should see all the Cubans on Mexicans channels. Now if you really want to stand by that statement I would switch Cuba to Argentina, they are pretty much Italians that speak Spanish and predominantly Caucasian. Well over 90% of their 40 million inhabitants are Caucasian.
While I am not the client, I'm not sure if he's interested in a Mexican due to the interest of their culture, into stereotypical Hispanic looking girls, or that he knows Mexicans are the most diverse out of Latin community and can find more options in terms of appearance. Only he know what he wants.
I understand where you're coming from, I too would be a little annoyed (at myself) if I was looking for a German provider and a provider of Irish decent offered (I wouldn't mind at all). But here's the thing it doesn't really matter what their decent is as long as the features I'm looking for are right. We don't know if he wanted a naturally tanned provider, maybe by chance there is Mexican provider that looks like they're from Europe based on how Americans see Mexicans, he might enjoy both but we don't know. I might be looking into this too much lol sorry, maybe he just wants a provider that is Mexican, simple. Sorry I just had to write.

I find it hilarious that two women from a country whose immigrants to this country find it downright offensive to be called "Mexican" are responding to an ad for a Mexican provider.
The difference between a paisa, or any Colombiana for that matter, and a Mexicana is just a huge as the difference between a Cubana and a Mexicana, and despite what townkid says, there is a very big difference between Cubans and Mexicans, even where it comes to language. You think it's hard for a Yankee from NYC has a hard time understanding a "coonass" from Louisiana? Try speaking Mexican Spanish in Cuba and see have far it gets you. (btw only Yankees call it "crayfish" they are properly called "crawfish" lol)
