Is try to make the ACA (Affordable Care Act) affordable. It is his legacy. The problem is that he is too busy trying to appease special interests. You can tell the people who he picked to implement to law are very incompetent. They should have just focused on getting health care for the uninsured and not kill the private system. People are enraged about the damage and will make sure to vote against it like they did this past Tuesday. In the liberal state of Maryland there was not waiting for voting the other day. The electioneers seemed not to be happy to see republicans and independents coming in with smiles. They took there own good time to look up the voting information before you could vote. Something to think about Iowa and West Virginia republican women senators.
If I can't get my kids off my corporate health insurance plan I will quit my job and not put them on my policy when I go to a new company. The old folks are pissed about the changes too. Many are getting their corporate retirement health insurance plans cancelled. They are being faced with limited choices(only 1 insurance plan available in their region), don't know who the doctors are etc. Companies like GE and Verizon recently made these changes in 2014. People who work part time are having issues with corporations cancelling their health insurance. Even ones who work in hospitals. No one wants the get the exchange health care plans because some many doctors are not accepting ACA plans from the exchanges.
How is the private system killed?

Your minimal understanding of ACA is minuscule. Neither Verizon nor GE can refuse to insure your kids until they turn 21 under ACA or as long as they are full time students. I work for GE so, you are lying your ass off.
People who worked less than 30 hours were never given health insurance to begin with. Now they can get subsidized health insurance through State Exchange if there is one in their state or through the federal exchange.

You did not read what I said. I said I can't take my kids off my insurance. It is an IRS regulation with corporate insurance plans. You can only make changes when you leave the company.
In terms of GE I have a relative who is retired and he got his corporate retirement insurance plan cancelled by GE. He is being forced to go to an exchange with only one insurer. Same with another relative who works for Verizon.
Go talk to GE and Verizon retirees.
