I'm only asking for it as an option, not as a new default. Another website, utopiaguide.com allows for this.
Is there a way to list the threads by most recent posting?

You can ask for this on the Suggestion & Policy board, but I dont't think it will happen.
The TER boards are orderd by when the thread is created. Personally, I like this. I've seen other boards that order threads by recent postings. All too often, an over-discussed topic is brought to the top because someone has to have his/her last word.

Different boards are what they are ... different software is what it is ... deal with it ...

On their website, go to user c.p. > Edit Options button > Thread Display Options field > Thread Display Mode > select Linear - Newest First
I simply asked for an additional feature, not an overhaul of this site. If it's not available, c'est la vie, but if so, why refuse to consider it?
There is a Suggestion & Policy Board [where I also posted this request] because, unlike you, the site moderators know that there is always room for improvement.
Things never improve unless people speak up. Deal with that.

Probably is a way, but I agree with Jazz on this one.
have to agree with Jazz and Wildturkey on this one - bringing most recent to the top is not my preferred method... just a personal choice.
