The Ferguson police department from the word go has done nothing but attempt to control public opinion this matter, from the release of the supposed "strong arm robbery" to the selected testimony of Wilson. Even the Justice Department is frustrated with this force's actions.

The DOJ should present their own case, provided they have one.
It might be but there are 3 or 4 different groups with all of this information. FBI, DOJ, Prosecution, defense team, state police maybe... I guess if the information coming out is the truth than I don't see a huge problem with it. It might actually cushion the reaction if the GJ decides not to charge him.
The police probably should have just released all the information they had in the first few days after the shooting, if for no other reason than the sake of public opinion. Doing it peace meal so far after the fact leaves doubt about them having time to cover their tracks if there was misconduct.
Are you a little surprised that off. Wilson has had black witnesses testify on his behalf to the grand jury that won't come out publicly because they are afraid they would be targeted? Do you see any issue with that?

Trust me, whatever the disposition of this case turns out to be, cop haters like DA and RR will just move right on to the NEXT big thing where some other white cop (or white Hispanic cop) tracks down and "murders" a 12 year old innocent black boy eating M&M's (this time) as he is walking to volunteer at the neighborhood leprosy center.

The only testimony Officer Wilson has given is his testimony before the grand jury – and the Ferguson police do not have access to that testimony, so I don’t see how they could “release it,” selectively or otherwise.
The NY Times article was based on statements Wilson made to federal investigators, not the Ferguson Police;
“The account of Officer Wilson’s version of events did not come from the Ferguson Police Department or from officials whose activities are being investigated as part of the civil rights inquiry.”
But I am encouraged that you don’t think Officer Wilson will be indicted. Nonetheless, since the DA is going to release the grand jury audio and transcript if no indictment, you will have a chance to make your own judgment
A female friend that called into one of the talk shows to give his version of events is what I believe he is referring to.
Leaking is bad. THere. I said it. Now to move on
The question is whether the info leaked is true. Was Brown's blood found in the car? Was there GSR on Brown? Did the officer have injuries?
It may be wrong to leak info, but it that info is true then it supports the cop's version. The fact that it was leaked does not affect its probative value
