Is Z OK recommending that his clients search TER?

If clients reserve the yacht on short (a few hours?) notice, isn't that enough time to post something to the local board?  And, they can get their own leads from clicking on links from recent reviews.

What about telling them to join or use P411 or Date-Check

Ahoy all,

Not sure where else to post this inquiry, so here goes. I manage a very busy, high-end private charter yacht based in New York City/New Jersey. We go on cruises (in NYC Harbor or to the Hamptons) with all different kinds of wealthy clients. Occasionally men will take me aside and ask me if I could procure either strippers or escorts for them.

I have always told guests that they have to arrange this on their own, thinking it was something best not to get involved with. However, these inquiries seem to be increasing. Last summer, a client I couldn't help called an agency that promised four girls ASAP. After we spent over two hours waiting at the dock, the agency stopped answering the phone and our guests were pretty unhappy.

Anyway, I'm wondering if someone wants to recommend an agency in the area that can deliver reliable, high quality service providers on short notice. Someone I could recommend as a "preferred vendor" as an additional service to clients. I am already adept at finding premiere chefs, bartenders, translators, and popup casinos on very short notice. Budget is never an issue with clientele, but everything is always last minute and needs to be "the best", etc.

Maybe the same agency would like to offer our yacht as a unique venue for high rolling clients (?)

Curious what folks think.

Thanks, Z

I personal Like Newark New Jersey nice harbor there.

...face charges for procuring prostitutes (even though you just recommend an agency to your clients), the yacht(s) could be seized and forfeited to the government as well.  Since you say you're "very busy" now anyway, it would seem that the risk wouldn't be worth the reward.

Thanks for the advice. I have heard the same sentiment from other sources and it seems very sound advice. My main motivation is that many (usually foreign) clients tend to use as a concierge type service and I had that experience where clients were stood up for hours. The more our clients enjoy their experience, the more they refer us and our business is pretty much referral only.

Related question: the brokering of exotic dancers is completely legal, no? That is a more common request than full service. Would it make any sense to have a relationship with a company that can provide skilled dancers promptly and reliably?

Z, keep coming up with rationalizations as to why you can do this for your clients.   I am in the market to buy a nice yacht in a government forfeiture auction.

Although I dislike the term "hobby" it is better to view this as an activity separate from how you make a living. The risk is far too great for the rewards. If I were you, I'd act like I didn't know what they were talking about.

I understand that you want to help your clients, you know how to help them, and it seems so harmless.  Everyone would have more fun.

Maybe you can ask an attorney if it's okay to point them towards TER or P411 like the other person advised.

Finding exotic dancers who'd take it a step further if all consenting adults decided to go that way, is a great idea.  That doesn't sound illegal at all.

Maybe you should speak with an attorney.

There must be a legal way to point your clients in the right direction
