When I sign on to the board, I get the no new mail message, whether I have PMs or not. suggest you test this before you complete sign - on process.

It could be a problem with your web browser. if you are using Safari on a Mac you may have to set the user agent to Windows MSIE 6.0. You can do that through the Debug menu. If you are using another browser that is not Internet Explorer try logging on via IE and see if the problem goes away. Also, do you have any pop-up blockers installed? They may be contributing to the problem.
