And, while a Provider has her "right" to say "no AA's"

I have my "right" to say no thanx - I'm caucasian - I'm also anti-discrimination

Have any of you been asked by a provider to provide a selfie before booking an appointment?  Would you?

So I requested an appointment by email with a well reviewed local provider and was asked for a reference which I happily provide and was told that I was good to go so I proceeded to set up appointment.  Next I get an email saying that I needed to send her a selfie before I could book the appointment.   Say what?

I started a thread about this a while back.  Massage provider's first name begin with C and ends with e.

That request would mean it's time to move on.  For me at least.

I even offered to provide a 2nd local reference.  Weird. I wonder if she just felt uncomfortable with me for some reason.  I was nothing but respectful during our email exchanges.

Nevertheless, despite her good reviewa....had to pass.

Ask her to send a selfie to insure that her pics are current.  If she does, tell her "no thanx."

I had an incall scheduled at her hotel  - she asked me to text/call her when I got there - I did.  She then asked me to get out of my car - she wanted to see me.  She was at the hotel door waiting for me.  I got outta the car, she saw me, and I saw her.  She said, "c'mon in."  I said "bye."  She looked fine, just as advertised.

Matter of principle

That being said would not send the picture

Just as I see her reviews, she sees my references (WhiteListings).  That's her "verification" of me!  If I was ugly and/or weighed 400 pounds, my "references" would so report!

Ie, "he was OK, if you're fine with a one-eyed 400 pound guy who insists on being on top."

How do you know they give that much detail? Maybe it's just thumbs up/thumbs down.

Do you think I'd have 22 WhiteListings if I had one eye, weighed 400 pounds and insisted on being on top!?

I don't think so!!

Maybe you had put off a bad vibe or possibly wanted to be sure that you were not someone who knew her in real life .
You just wasted her time and are proud of it .
No wonder some providers get bitchy!

She had my name BEFORE I showed up! - she knew I wasn't her brother!

She wasted my time - I didn't get laid that night!

If she had a real name I stand corrected.
Many apologies.
Ok maybe just one.

Probably checking to see if you are black, white or other.

Is a provider that prefers white guys (or Asians, or African Americans for that matter) discriminating or just particular about her tastes in men?  PC or not - Personally i don't see AA providers nor do i see Asians simply because they don't do it for me....... its just a matter of sexual taste - i can and DO hang out with them, i just don't fuck em.

Racism, bad experiences with people of a particular background, wants to avoid running into someone she knows, etc.

Whatever the reason, it's her right to choose whom she has sex with.

then ask a Client BEFORE they come-visit if they're Caucasian.  Or, PM the guy's WhiteListers and ask them, or, better-yet, state in on your website.

Otherwise you run the risk of the Client walkin away and losing out on 700$.

And I didn't get laid

aka, a lose-lose

BTW, for those who think I "screwed" the Provider - so-to-speak - she's the only one I ever walked away from in 20+ years.

If it's neck-down, I'd consider it if it were someone I really wanted to see and they were very particular about body type/size.  I did have one such request a few years ago from a low-volume provider who knew what she wanted in a man and wanted to be sure she got it. 😏

Is this thread about one of the following or all of the above?

1. requesting a selfie for verification  (which in my book is ridiculous)
2. Ethnicity.    (People are stupid if one picks clients by race)
3. Standing up a provider (it's not cool to be standing up an appointment that goes for both clients & providers, no one likes there time wasted)

Just my .02

There is no need for name calling.
In consensual encounters, everyone gets to decide what they want for security.
If a guy does not like the requirement for references, work numbers, photos or whatever, move along.

I will bet many of the guys on this thread will not see a provider who does not advertise her face photo

I believe this procedure was in place several months ago, when a well respected massage provider
was being stalked by someone who could so her serious damage if he had her personal information and she was using the selfie as her final screening device.

I reported this in my Friday shill, of Feb 3, "We seem to find new experiences to enjoy during each visit.  She mentioned that a stalker threat that required her to ask for a selfie pic from new clients, has been resolved, and is back to normal screening."

But I have never personally encountered it and I wouldn't comply.  It would be time to find someone else.

Whats the big deal?  I mean, we ask the ladies for pics all the time - some say yes, others say no.  Personally i've never been asked for a selfie, but if i was, i'd do it........... why not, especially if its a request for the providers safety, but even if she has a preference for type of guy she wants to see.  I don't think this is a race issue btw - if a provider doesn't want to see AA, or Asian Gents they normally state as much in their adds.

This is Pay for Play, right?  Assuming that I don't weigh 400 pounds, do I also have to pass the "looks" test?  I thought that it's my $money that the Provider wants.

If this was a dating site, then, sure looks and a personality test are in order.

I'll freely admit that I'm not the best looking guy in MN - hell, I'm not even in the top 1,000.  LOL. But, NO one has ever turned me down upon seeing my good looking self LOL

Ladies, does the Client need to have $money AND be good looking?!

souls_harbor322 reads

I'd send a face shot if the provider has been around for a while with decent reviews.  For security reasons I wouldn't do it for someone who is extremely new or doesn't have any reviews.

No one has ever asked me for a face shot or any pic.  No one has turned me down upon seeing my good looking self!  LOL

...but I've been sent all sorts of pictures I didn't request...mostly dick pics or full body shots in front of a mirror, and more face selfies than you would think! I'm also not hung up on the appearance or ethnicity of my clients. I'm more into safety, good chemistry, hygiene and mutual fun. And I don't send additional pictures, so it wouldn't make sense for me to ask for something I'm not willing to reciprocate!

But, personally, I don't understand how that helps with verification. At all. Half the time, when gents send me unsolicited photos, I let them know that isn't necessary. I don't need to know what you look like in order to meet you, just that your verification passes through references, screening site, or employment. But, every lady has their own procedures to ensure they feel comfortable.
