The news story is what I have been saying and writing about for a while. Asian American population is growing by leaps and bounds. They are all of high family values (not the hypocritical Republican type), law abiding, highly educated and discuss politics at home around dinner table,. like my family. They are not swayed by all the TV commercials. That is for the ignorant, brainless independents and FOX news viewers. They are highly religious too but it stays back in their homes and does not make it to work place or voting booth.

You read me wrong. I said their religion stays back at home and do not use it in their work place and force down on others and they don't consider voting based on religion. Yes, they give money to Christian churches but their vote is not based on a candidate's religion.

Stock Market at its historical high and 401(k) balances and retirement accounts at historical high as well. Dubiya created the worst economic and financial crisis and then the Repubs almost created another one by refusing to increase the debt ceiling! S&P downgraded our bonds for the first time in history due to clowns who did that and second time by shutting down the Federal government.
Lastly, the Republicans are not the ones who support family values. Family values include decisions that are made within the family and not forced by some Republican State legislators and their Governor.

and yes, most VN, Chinese, and Thai businesses in particular all have religious shit all over their walls. I will concede they don't push it on others, but Buddhists in general are less pushy about their religion than their Christian counterparts. Koreans and Japanese are much different with Koreans being mainly Christians and Japanese rarely even have "towns" in the US. Japanese seem to worship large corporations and are less entrepreneurial than other Asian immigrants.

For 73 years myself, my family and my extended families never thought we need a gun to save our lives, neither we think about it now or in the future. We rather spent the money on education in private schools and ivy league colleges to become top notch doctors, electronic engineers, and software experts. Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, Duke are filled with cream or the crop Asian and Indian talent.
Our heritage and culture does not mix together with guns that kill. We invest lot of money in gold, diamonds, colorful gold laced dresses for our women and of course the stock market.
As a matter of fact none of us have really seen a gun in real life to even know how it looks like except on TV & internet.
Stay with your crack, cocaine, guns, baseball (you like them blowing bubble gum, chewing and spitting tobacco), NFL (oh! those angels). We are happy with our Golf.
Because if you really needed one, and didn't have one (which you don't) you wouldn't be alive to tell..
