The longer I live the more I'm convinced that in most cases individuals have only to blame themselves for their condition. I've seen it in my own family. I have a family member who is 50 and works at Pizza Hut part time. His free time consists of sleeping,TV, and looking at car magazines. Another is a high school dropout with 5 kids,low income, but has money for beer,TV's,cigarettes,pimped cars and lotto tickets.
  They are not "victims".
Democrats would love that 47 percent to increase. Long ago they discovered that there are more takers than makers.That's where the votes are. Their message is 'you're helpless,you can't do it on your own. Depend on us,keep us in power.We'll take care of you." Prosperity is dangerous for Democrats. If you're doing well you don't need the government as much. And if you don't need the state as much you won't vote Democrat. It's obvious.
  I support helping those who can't help themselves. But I got cured of that bleeding heart crap years ago.

PBS took a poll and 72% of Americans believe we are still in a recession.  The biggest fear for 60% of Americans is NOT being able to pay a bill, it's food insecurity

The sad truth is my generation and younger do not have the same oppurtunity as the baby boomers.  There is not as many job oppurtunities.  Gasoline is so high just to get to a job.  And inflation at the grocery store is just plain scary.  

I believe is going to be awful for my children's generation and they are going to be living at home until late 20's-early 30's.  They grew up being spoiled by baby boomer grandparents and they will not be able to survive a depression if our dollar falls.  They will be too afraid to bring children in to the world, and only hispanics will continute to breed because they are about the only ones that can get help and don't believe in birth control.  They also have no problem changing Americans lifestyle of having chickens run around the yard and corn stalks growing in the front yard.  And no problem lowering wages

He should have ran on that message. He would have won.
