I did not use race and don't want to use race for the argument. Illiteracy, poverty and dependence run across race and is highest in the country. These states take in more of Federal money than they send. Guns and religion come in before food and education.

1. Fire the SCOTUS as is and set up a new one with 5 year term limits for justices.
2. Kill the second amendment.
3. Make it a crime to use religion in legislating.

Don't underestimate. People are getting sick of religion and use of religion in legislating laws that are good if we are still 15th century. Here are the absurd:
1. No one can talk to God or God will ever talk to you. No such thing exists. So using "I spoke with God and he / she made me do this" does not hold water anymore.
2. Abortion is a medical procedure. That is the reason we have medical professionals who have gone to college, done residency and certified to do it. They have at their disposal the hospitals, nurses, instruments and facilities to do the procedure. If it was murder none of these would have happened and existed.
3. Same sex unions and marriages cannot be illegal as it is a freedom of choice.
4. God and Guns cannot coexist. There is no God in any form to make that connection.
Let the Red states hold on to their guns, religion and live in the 15th century and leave others alone. When they travel to US Congress and attempt to force this upon others who don't believe in any of them, then it is time to divide the union.
Regarding number 4 and the others for that matter too.
