What have you really got? Immigration. Another endless unemployment benefits extension. But don't include the ones from all those MM headlines where a vote was delayed yet later brought up for a vote in order to achieve a more fiscally sound bill.

And don't rely of Obama's rhetoric. The Washington Post Fact Checker as already given him THREE Pinocchios for his claim that the House has blocked every good idea.

Start naming and they have to be actual block, not failed votes. For every one you come up with I can name 3 or more siting in Harry's Reid's waste basket. And it's not just Republican bills he threw away. Many have substantial House Democrat support. Here's a real good example. How about that VA management accountability act passed in the House with only 33 Democrats voting no? Where is it now? In Reid's waste basket. Want more examples? Try this:

285 bills passed by the house, sitting in Harry Reid's waste basket:

Add up ALL the bills passed into law by Congresses under Obama and where did the vast majority ORIGINATE? Why the House by a 3 to 1 ratio.

No jobs or economy bills coming out of the House you say? Well looky here:

Here are just 10 of them, ranked in order of bipartisan support:

The Hire More Heroes Act (H.R. 3474) passed the House on March 11, 2014, with support from 183 Democrats. The Senate has done nothing.

The Success and Opportunity through Quality Charter Schools Act (H.R. 10) passed the House on May 9, 2014, with support from 158 Democrats. The Senate has done nothing.

The Innovation Act (H.R. 3309) passed the House on December 5, 2013, with support from 130 Democrats. The Senate has done nothing.

The Cybersecurity Information Sharing and Protection Act (H.R. 624) passed the House on April 18, 2013, with support from 92 Democrats. The Senate has done nothing.

The American Research and Competitiveness Act (H.R. 4438) passed the House on May 9, 2014, with support from 62 Democrats. The Senate has done nothing.

The America's Small Business Tax Relief Act (H.R. 4457) passed the House on June 12, 2014, with support from 53 Democrats. The Senate has done nothing.

The Domestic Prosperity and Global Freedom Act (H.R. 6) passed the House on June 25, 2014, with support from 46 Democrats. The Senate has done nothing.

The S Corporation Permanent Tax Relief Act (H.R. 4453) passed the House on June 12, 2014, with support from 42 Democrats. The Senate has done nothing.

The Coal Residuals Reuse and Management Act (H.R. 2218) passed the House on July 25, 2013, with support from 39 Democrats. The Senate has done nothing.

The Small Business Capital Access and Job Preservation Act (H.R. 1105) passed the House on December 4, 2013, with support from 36 Democrats. The Senate has done nothing.

Where are ALL of them now? I hope you guessed it by now. Harry Reid's waste basket.

So yea. Let's compare lists.

My previous lists of substantial House legislation, that was killed in the Senate by Reid, went ignored by all you Libs. So maybe this one will get your attention and allow Honda to reactivate his discussion about the FED since marikod hijacked it with Obamacare trivia. It received near unanimous Republican support yet only approximately 50-50 support from Democrats (still that quite something). I didn't check but anyone care to wager which 50% are in "safe" seats? Or what Reid will do with this bill?

...unlike Republicans who will never say the same thing about Boehner.

in the House without even bringing them up for a vote!     Can you name them or you want me to do it?

All the House bills were blocked in the Senate for a good reason.    They had nothing to do with creating jobs, improving the economy or helping Americans in any way.    The bills only wanted to end all worker safety regulations, open up work place hazards that are now illegal or go after labor unions

The economy, hurt businesses and the people who work there.

Obama sux

So yea. Let's compare lists.

on many of the bills you list – the ones passed between May and July of this year – is because the Senate has been in  summer recess from August 8 to September 8.

So they hardly have had time to consider the merits of the House give aways and environmental no protection legislation, or consider alternatives.

But I do agree with you that most of the bills you listed deserve to end up in Senator Reid’s trashcan. The S Corporation tax relief bill?  S corporations aren’t required to withhold  Medicare  or Social  Security taxes. With both programs foundering for lack of revenue, I don’t think we need this give  away.  The Small Business Tax Relief giveaway.? This one  would raise the deficit about 73 million over a 10 year period.  Plus the White House plans to veto it and there are not enough votes to trump the veto.

Hire More Heroes? Please- let's hire the best man for the job instead.  Hiring vets is one reason the VA has done so badly.

So maybe you should look a little deeper before assuming that the “Senate has done nothing" for partisan reasons

Most of my data is for the entire Obama admin, or at least since the Republicans took over the House. Cherry picking 2 months is a non starter.

While the Senate Republicans have used their filibuster power to stop some things it does not come close to filling the "dead on arrival" trashcan of Harry Reid. 73's remark was about Boehner's supposed heavy hand regarding the House agenda so my response was on topic, unlike yours. Judging a bill's worthiness as you did is fine with me, but that's what roll calls are for.

If you want to show off your even handed nature, let's hear your view point regarding Obama's absolutely incorrect flat assertions as pointed out by the WP Fact Checker. If your going to claim MOST then you are also including bills that received a majority Democrat support that Reid has killed.

Face it, Reid's intent (and Obama's) is to make this a do nothing Congress and blame the House (and Senate Republicans).  He feels confident in this strategy because he knows the media is going to play along, They've got 73 duped.
