So, let me get this straight.    Hypothetically if my daughter is raped and becomes pregnant I am forbidden from making a decision with her about how to handle it?     The state legislators make the decision for us?     Same goes for a victim of incest.

Why waiting period?    Who are these legislators to tell me we have to wait, is it not a medical professional that has to decide based on the condition of the victim?

at was publicized on main stream media. "We don't die we multiply" Some what of an illogical statement IMO, as most people will die at some point in their lives. Back to your topic, I can not recall if she was a resident of Missouri or not? I can not speak for this young woman, however. Using my own train of thought and logical reasoning, I think she would be in favor of a waiting period for women whom seek abortive services.

that want to protect women from themselves.  Obviously, women don't have the capacity to make a reasoned decision in their own interests.  We also need to protect their health, by restricting access to credible abortion services and forcing them to order abortive medications online, or drive out of the state, or even better, drive to Mexico to get an abortion. It's only for their best interest....and we know what's best for women.  Women are simply vessels for procreation and we need to keep it that way.  Sarcasm ended.

No one is denied an abortion. No one is denied making that decision, with or without assistance. The news here is about the abortion waiting period with no exceptions. Half the states also have waiting periods.

So you believe the government should not impose any waiting periods before what many people consider a death sentence is carried out. OK, how do you feel about the same logic being applied to capital punishment? After being found guilty of a capital crime with the death penalty then imposed, the judge simply pulls out a gun a shoots the guilty person dead, immediately. Why should the state force any sort of delay? That might allow an appeal. That might allow calmer heads to prevail after revisiting the facts.

The state should not impose any waiting limits....If the woman wants the abortion, then she should be able to get the abortion.  Abortion is not murder and never has been and never will be.

is it safe to believe you are OK with no waiting periods for capital punishment? Capital punishment is not murder

...in the U.S. with 6 million people (at least half of them women) has only ONE abortion clinic to serve the entire state.
