I've got a new lovely lady in my life who does not live in my city. I've visited her 3 times so far.  I have to drive 90 miles to visit her, takes about 2 hours each way.  But it's a pleasant drive and I enjoy anticipating the pleasures that await my arrival.  How near or how far would you guys go to visit a regular before you decide it's too far?

One hour drive time is usually my limit.

One hour drive is usually my minimum.  There's no resident providers where I live.

and have even driven a couple of hours farther to Philly.

Beyond that, I'd probably fly, and have done so on a few occasions.

When love calls, I goeth

I've flown to LA, Dallas, Phx purely for hobbying opportunities.  Fun trips but hard on the budget, especially if I'm trying to maximize the travel value by squeezing in 2 or 3 dates in a weekend.  Not sure at this age I could handle that no matter how many vitamins I take! So I'm seeking more local opportunities.

Philly to NY is a common trip for me. While we in the City of Brotherly Love get our share of the top touring ladies coming to visit (especially when the weather is nice) I head to the Big Apple when someone I'm particularly interested in is visiting there. The ride up and back, and a two hour noon session fill the space of a normal work day, so no one's the wiser.

Too many choices in the Washington metro  area.  No need to travel further.  Have taken advantage of other locations when on travel, but this area is incredibly well off when it comes to opportunities of all types.  I could write a book.........

Maybe you should.  I'd buy it!  My area is very poorly served so an hour drive is normally the least I have to travel.  I've vacationed and hobbied in LA and in the Phx areas and it's amazing to have all the choices available in such escort-rich areas.  You are lucky!

nothing. I live in Colorado so we drive hundreds of miles to see a movie, or go to a mall.

I live about 100 miles from New York City on eastern Long Island. I have driven 60 or 70 miles to see a provider on the Island, but I will not drive into Manhattan. The toll is expensive, parking is always a problem, and parking garages are also very expensive. Also, the traffic on the L.I.E. usually sucks. Fortunately for those of us out east, there is the Hampton Jitney. Around $50 bucks round trip. Nice tour bus type coaches with a hostess and light snacks. Bus stops in 5 or 6 different locations on the east side of Manhattan, and is usually a short hop to the more popular hotels visited by traveling and local providers. If I didn't have the Jitney, I think I would take the Long Island Railroad. Not as pleasant but still a lot cheaper and less stressful than driving.

I've routinely driven 2 hours each way for a 2 hour rendezvous.  The "trip to" is filled with anticipation and the "trip back" is filled with satisfaction.
On rare occasion, I'll drive 4 hours to Miami for a special rendezvous and return the next day...or the day after that.
My longest was a trip to Chicago ($100 airfare though) to see a lady I had been wanting to see for a long time.  And it was worth it.
Hey, when you gotta go...you gotta go!

But, that's mostly on an interstate out west, so the travel time is about an hour. When I lived in a dense, crowded city on the east coast, seeing a favorite 15 miles from my house could easily take the same time. So, I don't think mileage is really the metric, more like how much time you'll spend to get to the one you desire. Since the round trip is 2 hours, I always schedule 90 minute or 2 hour appointments, because an hour just seems stupid, given the investment of time to get there.

I agree that the time is more important than the distance.  I'm happy to be able to report that all 3 times I've visited my newest GF I've spent the night with her, so a 2 hr drive each way is quite worthwhile.

to visit some very special friends. Always for multi-hour lunch- or dinner-type dates. I routinely drive 1 hr for many dates

I thought I was nuts for driving one hour each way.  I don't have any other choice, one hour away is the nearest providers that I can get to. You guys are worse off than me. It's amazing why us guys will do anything for some pussy.

Several years ago I had a favorite lady who lived on the opposite side of Florida from me...for about 2 years I drove the 3 hours each way to see her once or twice a month for eveings out to dinner, shows and over nites...sometimes I still miss the great times with her !

So for a belated birthday celebration I drove from LA to Vegas just to see her...so that was exactly 232 miles. And it was worth it!!!

I have a favorite provider in Las Vegas which is about a 4 hr flight from my hometown.  I see her whenever I'm able to visit Vegas which is usually 1-2 per year.  I have another trip planned for later this year, so I'll be seeing her again.

I traveled about 16 billion miles from the time I first signed up to TER until my first encounter about 1.5 years later.  (Counting the distance the solar system traveled in that time through the cosmic background radiation as a reference.)

Oh, you all came with, ya bunch of free loaders

I doubt I would go to any other city. I like visiting Vegas, as it is a fun town. So I would go meet a provider there.
