Not anchors. They  are paid to give opinions. If you don't agree with it you can watch the other networks who have slobbered all over Barack Obama these last 6 years. And they have done it while reporting under the guise of objectivity.

If one is a commentator, s/he does not need to be concerned about being or appearing to be objective, and need not concern themselves with being hypocritical in their analysis and commentary. The question I have is, who would want to hire such people, and who would want to listen to these commentators?

I'll have to take your word on the issue regarding the other networks and their anchors, since I don't watch them.  ;

I know that may be difficult for you, being out in the sun as much as you seem to be. But, what in the author's word's, do you contest, regarding Hannity's and O'Reilly's call for unity in the face of the enemy, being hypocritical, when they apply it for Bush, but fail to apply it for Obama? Seems like the principle and reasoning, regarding how to deal with our enemies would be universal, no matter who the president may be.  ;)

Your potty-mouth reminds me of the kids I've seen who try to shock, embarrass; overall get a rise out of the adults around them! I don't think that's working with anyone here on this board, so when are you going to grow up?   ;)

nintelligent people are mostly predictable and boring. That's why it's kinda obvious what the tea bag party's reaction will be with every breaking news story. If it's bad, Obama did it; if it's good, it was something else. Yikes, they're not even smart enough to vary the pattern a bit to avoid detection

Why must someone listen to someone, on a TV or Cable network, spout off their opinion, particularly on the president? Can't they form their own opinions? Why does someone get hired to give opinions; particularly if the opinions are so politically biased? And, another question, why do the opinions, of Hannity, O'Reilly and North, regarding being unified behind the president, during a time of war, count when applied to Bush, but not Obama? Seems like the reasoning as applied to our enemies,  would apply in both circumstances, if politics were not an issue?  ;)

Don't you form at least some of your opinions from opinion pieces you read on HuffPo or NY times being a liberal? Don't some people couch things in a way that hadn't thought of before?

For me, it's Charles Krauthammer on Fox. He is brilliant. Whether you agree with him or not, he always has numerous reasons to back his argument and his arguments are logic based, not emotionally based.  

Look I don't always agree with him, but I never walk away and say "that was crazy what Krauthammer just said." Lol

with understanding someone's reasoning behind what they believe.  I like to listen to George Will's reasoning and logic, but with like anyone, I expect the reasoning and logic to remain constant across the board, no matter who is president. That goes for any commentator. And, I'm all for calling out the commentator when s/he has changed their logic and reasoning for what appears to be political purposes.

Weren't the two on Bush's watch defense contractors, and the two on Obama's watch journalists?

I can't recall as I read the article the other day, to me there seems to be a difference between those two comparisons.
