Speaking strictly for myself, but I am pretty fucking happy with my life, even though I don't splurge on $1,300 hr hookers, but I do eat anything and everything I want, and not only can I afford it, but I cam find almost anything I want, from any corner of the world flown fresh to my local grocer. I am quite happy with where I live. I have the freedom to travel anywhere I want. I don't really do without anything, and quite frankly where it comes to my day to day life I don't have much to complain about.
How people can be so fucking miserable living in a country with the opportunities we do is beyond me. I think every American should travel to where they have REAL poverty so they can see just how fucking good they have it, and by "every American" RRO, that means you!!!

The privilege of being an American extends well past our borders. We get better treatment in many countries than do the local citizens that live there.
I travel a LOT, and I may actually end up retiring in a country other than the USA, but I will never give up my US citizenship. We are the most privileged people on the planet, and like most "children of privilege" we tend to be the most spoiled as well.
