It's hard to fault people who know that these animals will not even blink at the thought of killing them for the way they cut their beard or cover their hair. Don't kid yourself...if this country was overrun with fanatics like this, most of us would be cowering, too. Survival instinct is hard to overcome.
Egyptian feminist Aliaa Magda Elmahdy, 23, challenges the strict nature of Islam on her blog and Facebook pages. She went a step further in her protest against the Islamic State (IS) with a photo of Elmahdy and a veiled woman pooping and menstruating on the black IS flag.
Arab nations did not print the photo because the flag states “there is no God but Allah.” Elmahdy did not explain why she took the photo, but she protests Islamic laws, and IS implements strict Sharia Law. Women must wear full veils and not leave the house without a male relative. The jihadists have even forced shopkeepers to fully veil all mannequins. In Raqqa, Syria, an Islamic State stronghold, a crowd stoned two women to death for allegedly committing adultery.
I'm not into Scatology, but I sure do approve of her message.

but I hope tomorrow's headline is not one lamenting her death at the hands of these thugs.
If so, change usually doesn't happen easily, after all it was only a blink in time since Christians were burning witches at the stake. I don't know about you, but I don't want to wait another five hundred years for these people to "become civilized"
because if there is one thing I can agree with GaG on, it is that there is a list somewhere with her name at the top of it.
She likely knows it, though, and knows that there really isn't much to lose over there if you are a woman and have any shred of hope for anything better than servitude. It's amazing what having no options will make some people do, and I pray that somehow she continues to live and piss in those animals' cereal every day.
Someone has to take a stand, and I hate to admit that it is extremely likely that her stand on this could easily cost her her very life, which is what makes her all the more courageous for what she is doing.
Don't think this makes us friends, but right is right, courageous actions deserve respect, and what she is doing most certainly takes courage.

.......you don't see or hear Moderate/Secular Muslims in Europe, East Asia, the U.S. etc criticizing or protesting on the streets against these nut bag jihadists.
All that does is draw attention to themselves that they are Muslims, making them a target for wacko extremists in their country or who are happy to come to their country who either who support ISIS or who hate all Muslims (and there are many). Right now is not a good time to be drawing attention to yourself if you are a Muslim anywhere, and they know it. A wonderful by-product of the technical/information revolution.
