Now, in their latest cease fire violation, Hamas has directly struck a synagogue and murdered a 4 year old child. Hamas no longer refers to Israel as "the Zionist Occupier", they are finally coming out and saying "the Jews". Reports from journalists covering Gaza have come in regarding the brutal suppression of objectivity, with threats of personal violence placed on any reporter who does not follow Hamas dogma and direction in reporting.Video footage has proven the civilian death toll claims coming from Gaza have been inflated due to the same dead people showing up in different locations, on different days, wearing different clothing. And in one particularly telling instance, moving their shroud out of the way so they can scratch their nose (TY NdtBf). Where is the outrage? (crickets chirping)
UN officials have proclaimed Israel is at fault because it does not share its Iron dome tech with Hamas.
UN-run schools in Gaza are used as launching pads and storage facilities for Hamas rockets.

Why aren't Jews around the world rising up and committing random acts of violence and mayhem against the Arabs? I'll tell you why. Because the Jews are a civilized people who want peace and wish to continue doing good works to provide the world with advances in engineering, medicine, science, computer and high-tech, agriculture and animal husbandry, not to mention sophisticated and superior military tech. We have our extremists like any other monotheistic religion in the world. But you tell me. Who do you think is more likely to kill you over your choice of God? How many of you have actual, real world, boots-on-the-ground experience with terrorism in the Middle East? Military, civilian, or otherwise? I've survived two terrorist attacks when I was in Israel, in 1964, a full 3 years before the 6 day War, and again in 1971. I've seen, heard, and experienced first hand the results of their evil. As far as I am concerned, that gives me the right to talk about the events in the Middle East.
Who the fuck are these "willy wonka's of the world",( the ones who have never been to nor have a clue about it) to call Israel an Apartheid state when in fact, Arab citizens of Israel enjoy more democracy and personal freedoms than anywhere else in Pan-Arabia. Arabs living in Israel do not want to move to Gaza or the West Bank, they do not want to lose what they are allowed to have in Israel. Jews on the other hand, are experiencing prejudice and hatred unlike anything seen since the rise of German and Arab Nazism in the 30's. Even on this board, I'm not the only one who's noticed an uptick in the mindless and senseless hatred of anything Jewish being spewed. And these are from people who've probably never met a Jew who wasn't a Doctor, Lawyer, Accountant, or successful entrepreneur.
But the Jews of today are not the same humble scholars, sheepherders and simple farmers the Nazis murdered in World War II. The Jews of today comprise descendants of those Holocaust Survivors, myself included. We will defend ourselves and our loved ones. And I for one, am not going to back down from any threats. Just like the bully's on the playground get support through fear and intimidation, the world is afraid of the Radical Islamist not the Jew. Why, because as you said, the Jew's are civilized. An, for many of us in the states, Radical Islamist gets generalized to anyone of Muslim faith. There are plenty of Muslims who do believe in peaceful coexistence, and who do want peace, as those Israeli Arabs you mentioned. And, I believe there are many honest, sincere people, on both side, trying to build trust, on both sides, for a peaceful solution. Unfortunately, it's the radicals, the bully's who get their way. And so, the Western world is in fear of the radical Islamist, not the Israeli. Hence, the Western world fails to speak the truth, for fear of inflaming the radical Islamist, and knowing the friend and ally, Israel, will not retaliate. I don't always agree with what Israel has done, or not done to reduce the violence around them; like continuing to build new settlements, which I believe reduces the Palestinian's hope of a two state solution .But, they have a representative government which is there to implement the policies that it's citizens feel are needed to protect them. And, the Palestinians bear responsibility for their behavior in response to what they view as their hopes being undermined or dashed.
In my view, much of the way the Western world is expecting Israel to respond to those attacking her is like having you or me think about the personal history, which drove the person, who is putting a gun to our head, before defending ourselves. Yes, desperate people do desperate things, but it is truly a foolish expectation, and unreasonable demand to expect one to contemplate such when one is being threatened. When the person puts down the gun, and relinquishes it, then that can be considered.
Regarding antisemitism, aside from it's long and complicated history; all I can say for it's present manifestations is, it tapes into my initial illustration about the school yard bully; scapegoating. A group doesn't typically scapegoat another person or group, if they are truly afraid of imminent retaliation from them. Rene Girard has some excellent writings on the subject.
