employers could take a novice 23 year old and get more production out of him/her than two 18 year old entry level workers .
If they're in business to make money, they won't be hiring teens at $ 15.00 an hour unless older applicants can't be found.
Teens out of school without a job often leads to problems such as throwing Molotov cocktails at police trying to keep the peace.
OF COURSE it will hurt entry level i.e. POOR workers the most! If the pool of talent is bigger for which an employer to draw from, which it CERTAINLY would be if you doubled the min wage, I would have my pick of employees and wouldn't have to settle for uneducated, non skilled, non experienced workers.
