got it right for change. As I understand it, this was an Afghan soldier who hid in a bathroom and just started shooting people. There is no combatant privilege that would attach to this - it just pure murder.

We invaded that country. The Afghan who shot the US General was defending his country and his people
the majority of the people in Iraq and Afghanistan actually prefer us to the Taliban. Just because 20% of the population are religious nut cases who want to oppress and control everyone it doesn't represent the average person.
