I don't need to believe in some fairy tale that promises me everlasting life so I can't get to sleep at night, I am perfectly ok with the fact that I have no fucking idea what is going to happen when I die. Common sense tells me that I am no more special than any other life form on this planet and most likely I will disappear into nothingness, but like everyone else ever born, I will find out soon enough.

hell. It is fun though to be the 3rd party bystander during butt pirate pride week and watch two of them yell at each other .

Lady GaGa in concert . All those freaks were on one side filing in and on the opposite curb was a huge 6'8" dude with a flat top. He had a giant sign with BURN IN HELL FAGGOT written on it and graphic of somebody on fire . He also had a blow horn and was ripping them. The swell fellas dressed in ballet attire and angle wings were screaming all sorts of shit back at him. I felt like was in an episode of the twilight zone.
The restaurant is called Mary's Gourmet Diner for a reason. And she's the daughter of a minister so I'm guessing she's read the Bible many more times than you have.
The food is quite good, if a bit eclectic (great fried egg burger). And a great place for Sunday brunch (note -- they are open on Sundays whereas many of the small family run places are closed)
The owner, by the way, describes herself as "spiritual" rather than "religious". She's much more of the earth goddess / progressive type and is not a bible thumper by any means. Most of the wait staff are tatted-up arty types; one even performed in a burlesque show few years ago.
The only downside to the place is the booths are uncomfortable to sit in.
