..........that will allow millions of illegal immigrants to get work permits and remain in the country. I expect the right wing nut bags to go berserk. Establishment Republicans are doing all they can to quell talk of impeachment but will have to follow their troops wishes and proceed with House impeachment hearings in the fall.

I believe it was Napoleon who said "Never interrupt your enemy when he is committing suicide." I would add to those wise words one caveat: If your enemy is attempting to commit suicide but finds that he doesn't have any bullets for his gun, it is perfectly acceptable to interrupt him briefly and give him some ammunition.

Whatever executive order the president intends to issue should follow that maxim.

"There is a chance that the Republicans will try to impeach the President, especially later in the summer, after he announces a major Executive Order that will affect a large number--millions, perhaps--of the illegal immigrants now in the country. There is speculation that it will be a further expansion of the legal status he conferred on children brought into the U.S. illegally by their parents; perhaps the parents will now be included. There is likely to be an explosion if he does this--the Central American refugee crisis on the U.S.-Mexico border has made immigration the hottest of domestic issues. It is also the most toxic issue for Republicans, who hope to win the presidency someday--and the Senate this November."

"House Speaker Boehner has said there will be no impeachment. That's why he instituted a rather silly lawsuit against the President over--yet again--Obamacare, which aides say could be expanded if Obama goes for broke on the border. Boehner is trying to placate the GOP base. But he also promised that there would be no government shutdown in 2013 and got trampled by his troops. The Speaker knows there's nothing the Democrats would rather have than impeachment and immigration as the dominant issues in the fall campaign. He also knows there's nothing Rush Limbaugh would rather have; indeed, it would be a ratings bonanza--the base would go berserk."

Sounds to me like, in one fell swoop, Obama will manage to highly energize both the Democratic base and the Hispanic vote. Please proceed, Republicans.....

Impeachment will bring democrats out in droves. Please proceed GOP. President Obama should go BIG on immigration reform by executive order. There are millions of workers here in the US who have been here for years and years who need to come out of the shadows and start being paid at least a minimum wage and paying taxes.

I've never seen the Left give the Right so many warnings (not you, of course, you're just a pawn).

At the end of the day, it's undeniable that creating buzz about your own party's impeachment is not coming from a place of power.

What shadows? They're marching on the streets right in front of the White House! You think they are going to pay taxes? They're going to be collecting checks paid  for by the 50 percent of us who still pay taxes

The Republican House lawsuit against the President is all about cutting off impeachment talk from the right wing loonies. It will not work!

On Tuesday, Speaker John Boehner told reporters that “impeachment” was “a scam started by the Democrats at the White House.”

It wasn’t. If impeachment is a scam, it was started on the right, early in the Obama presidency. Some of its early adherents believed in it; some thought they were merely responding to the passions of constituents; some, obviously, wanted to raise money. At the start of this summer, the conservative book-publishing industry churned out two new tomes about why Republicans needed to start an impeachment conversation, to stop pretending that it was crazy to accuse the president of high crimes and realize that it was consistent with the rest of the party’s arguments. Republicans mostly refused to listen.

Here are some examples of Impeachment talk from some Republican politicos:

Sarah Palin placed an op-ed at Breitbart.com, announcing that the time had come for Impeachment.

House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.), when pressed on Sunday by Fox News’s Chris Wallace, declined to rule out impeachment?

Last week, House Republicans huddled in a Capitol conference room to figure out what kind of emergency immigration bill they might be able to pass. Florida Rep. Ted Yoho wanted the party to jam the White House, to pack the bill with new border security measures and threaten to impeach Obama if he ignored them.

In May 2013, Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.) said that, because of allegations of a White House Benghazi coverup, “people may be starting to use the I-word before too long” about Obama.

Also in 2013, Rep. Kerry Bentivolio (R-Mich.) said it would be his “dream come true” to author Articles of Impeachment against the president, while Sen. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.) said the nation was “perilously close” to circumstances that might require impeachment.

During a hearing on “Operation Fast and Furious” in December 2011, Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner (R-Wis.) accused the Justice Department of withholding information and said that “if we don’t get to the bottom of this,” Congress might have to resort to the “only one alternative” it had, “and it is called impeachment.”

As far back as May 2010, Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) said the allegation that the White House had offered then-Rep. Joe Sestak (D-Pa.) a job so he wouldn’t oppose Sen. Arlen Specter, a Republican-turned-Democrat, “is in fact a crime and could be an impeachable offense.

Look, I think he should be impeached too but I wouldn't do it now and the R's got this one right.

We take back the Senate, see how the IRS/Benghazi/Immigration/Obamacare scandals play out, couple that with the AP scandal and the NSA, and we'll decide next year.

Until then you can keep those fundraising dollars flooding in by keeping with this line of b.s. lol

Just answer me one thing.  If it's from the Democrats, why are all the people talking about the "I" word Republicans

allowing the puppet master banks and their surrounding, servile corporations more time and resources to abrogate our Bill of Rights and further enslave the American citizen.

They're thinking about it. It may happen, it may not. But what is lost in all this? The Constitution says impeachment can happen for "Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors."

What high crime has Obama committed? Oh, never mind that, that's just an after thought. The House Republicans want to impeach Obama just because they can, and they're figure out a reason why later.

The Republican Party of today has no shame. No sense of dignity. No sense of statesmanship. It's like having Congress run by right wing internet trolls.

...in the House.  They're just waiting for an excuse. Here's one guy who said so - Blake Farenthold of Texas.  How'd you like to be represented by him in Congress?  He's a dumber legacy than Dubya, if that's possible.
