Hey Impposter,

Perhaps both our memories are a bit off. I don't believe the place I'm referring to was in any way related to the Harmony. I could be wrong though. It was indeed on 22nd street but definitely not east. It was definitely west and in Chelsea.  The sister club I don't believe was in Tribeca although I am not great with some of the city divides. It was near where Church becomes 6th Ave. In any event they were both interesting clubs where I had some success at both. Thanks for the clarifications.

Yeah. There used to be a place in Chelsea with a sister club downtown that was very much UTR. It had no sign or advertisement. The talent was always very inconsistent but you could find some amazingly beautiful women there. The private dances weren't private and handjobs were very much the norm.

I think you might be referring to the two Harmony Theaters, one was in Tribeca (not Chelsea) and the other one was on E 22 (or E 23?).  (The Harmony was originally Melody Theater in Times Sq.) The Harmony had a more cabaret style place called Blue Angel, two blocks away in Tribeca, also in the basement. I don't think that they were so UTR, at least not to judge by the number of patrons!

There were some other underground lap dance+ places that would float around.

Flashdancers is big, glitzy, right out there on Bway and no secret at all but it is in the basement, so that might make it underground.  :-)  Pricey lap dances; constant surveillance to prevent activities and protect their liquor license.  Haven't been there in years.

The Harmony was the best.  Sic transit gloria mundi.

Had my first experience at an "underground" rotating strip club last night. Was kind of amazing. Basically just a regular bar accept all the girls were gorgeous, flirty and you can take them to the back for lap dances. Was wondering if any providers also work these clubs? or if any girls would be willing to check it out on a date, then go home for some fun. any takers?

That sounds like the strip clubs I used to hit Jersey over a decade ago.  Regular bar, with gorgeous girls dancing for your entertainment.  Lap dances available in the back, which have to be paid for at $20 per song.  Added up, that's $400 - $600/hr.   Yep, that sounds like a typical strip club in Jersey.

The $$ are better spent hobbying.  End of statement.

oh absolutley. definitely spent way to much money last night and could have got a lot more in return with a TER girl. But its a different experience and still a lot of fun.

If you mean the theater named after a planetary saint, I know the one- I once tried working there a number of nights, back when I was just in body rubs in the city.
It was ok, newbie nights were a spectacle; a few bridge-and-tunnel broke college girls who looked scared shitless the entire time, a few go-getters who took it in stride, and of course the old pros (some hot brazilians, if I remember correctly). If you want to see real American girl-next-doors suddenly plopped into stripping, this is the place to go!
I was on the lookout for a sugar daddy at the time but hadn't turned to escorting yet, and got into massive arguments with the owner because guys would slip me their number and he assumed I was poaching johns off him. He was a character, that guy. Eyes like Steve Buscemi, long ponytail, cheap suit and a fedora. Thin as a rail. And paranoid as fuck, lol.
Yeah, that gig didn't last long. Never met any escorts there, though- Buscemi would've sniffed them out in an instant.

"f you mean the theater named after a planetary saint"

that's the one! I didn't realize it had been around for that long. Was a fun experience. not saying it compares with the girls on here by any means.

That sounds amazing. Any chance you could pm me the details? Seems like a good place to just relax and enjoy.

However if you struck up a deal with your girl you could leave and go to a nearby hotel or your place etc.  That place was great and you didn't spend a fortune either.

Oops.  W 22, but right near 5th or 6th.  That one was a street level kind of a flat open space with a big stage (on the right as you enter) and vending machines in the very back.  And pieces of furniture that looked like they had been salvaged off the curbsides of NYC.  Yuck.  That was "Harmony - Uptown".  The one on the east side of Church was near White or Walker: Tribeca  It was a first floor with a stage and ratty chairs and, my preference, the downstairs with a smaller stage and ratty chairs.  There was a giant mural of Ru Paul near or on the stairs. The Blue Angel was on White or Walker, about 300 feet east of Church.

Some of the dancers would dance of both Harmony's.  If downtown, they'd leave the Harmony (on Church) at closing (2 AM?) and head over to the Blue Angel which was open until 4 AM(?).

Bring back the Harmony

St. Venus Theatre.  It's not verboten to mention it on these boards.  A simple Google search will get you the info.  Hell, the Post did a story on them.  Hell, the TIMES did a story on Bliss...
