That will help vouch for her.

Otherwise, you're never going to be sure, and if it does upset you (and it should), I'd pass

I was wondering if I could get some advice. I wanna see a provider who says they are 18 but looks very young. Would it be an issue asking to see their ID (it could be fake i have no idea how to check) or there other things i could do. just wanna cover myself. Thanks.

Ladies do lie about it and often the first review is based on the age she claims. If she is 16 claiming to be 19 (most under age ladies do lie about being of age I would imagine most do lie about that) and was reviewed her profile will say 18-20 as the reviewer and TER has no valid way of proving otherwise. I would have to hope the reviewer didn't know at least. If they did there would be no review. I know of a lady who was 17 when she got her first review here. She is now in her 30's but her first time she was reviewed she was under-aged and honestly trafficked. TER she had her old reviews pulled long ago and the review is gone from this site. TER is not a useful guide on a ladies age. I am willing to bet more ladies have the wrong age on their profiles than not.

Here is a real answer: If she looks young enough to be underage and even that isn't real proof as some ladies look older then they are then there is no fool proof way to know. If I suspected a lady might be under age I would require ID, even then she could have fake ID. And if she was smart she wouldn't show it. Basically if in doubt avoid. Seeing an escort who is of legal age and willing is a misdemeanor, seeing an underage lady is a very serous felony. The rules of the game change greatly at that point.

In fact screw ID, if in doubt run. But what ever you do don't trust TER on this. Run if at all in doubt about her age. Solicitation of a minor in my  state carries a 3 years to life jail term. Not worth the risk.

and I was constantly surprised at the claimed ages.  Times have changed...  & in some states it's possible to verify ID.
When I was younger...  I loved the cute young thing look...  but d*mn I would not take a chance on an 18yo.  Even if they showed you an ID, they can be fake.  It's just not worth the risk to me.   I don't know if checking the ID would protect you if it turns out to be her older sister or a fake.

There are apps that will scan IDs...   http://www.barandclubstats.com/

If you bang a lady underage and LE finds out you will not like the results. Her lying and presenting a fake ID will not excuse you. At least not in my state.

Chew on this for a second or two: 10-year to life-long registration as a sex offender. That's what the  applicable law is in Minnesota. Asking for an ID could be construed as "soliciting a minor to engage in prostitution or sexual conduct," one of the offenses listed on the state's website. So not worth the risk.

Looking for young girls with full knowledge she "looks underage" and that "you don't know how to check ID" establishes all a court would need to prove strict liability for statutory rape (if she is indeed underage).

You establish an intention to act knowing you do not know her age, you establish an intention to act knowing you cannot verify her age adequately (mens rea) and if you act (actus rea).... you have shit-all for defense.

In such cases even an ID check is disingenuous. The courts are well evolved to deal with this type of issue and parse out the intent, act and what you "should have known and done".

I'd love to prosecute that case

If there is a question, don't do it. Being on a sex offender registry will ruin some of your life..and unless you are very young yourself you really shouldn't "want" to be with a true 19 year old. Have you had a conversation with one or listened to a group of them talking lately?
