I saw a bunch of words...

Just some talking points.

In the 29 years that CinemaScope has been conducting surveys of movie theater audiences only 52 have earned a rating of A+. One of them is the new movie America by Dinesh D'Souza. It is a moving, emotional, inspirational, and at times chilling, documentary about American history. And it is a must see. D'Souza fearlessly allows all of the voices of American injustice state their case and then let's them marinate. He then patiently takes his time to refute them. All I can promise all of you is that you will run the gamut of emotions while watching this movie. Depending on whether you agree or disagree, you will experience polar opposite emotions.

91% of the critics at Rotten Tomatoes hated it which tells you more about movie critics than anything else: They are no different that 91% of the mainstream media. In there attacks on the film they show their true colors. They do believe America is immoral and unjust. And that the president is justified in believing the same and taking measures to cut us down to size. Their reviews always include the words "conspiracy theory" but no common theme is found in them except that they clearly do not want you to see the movie. Their mission is to steer the TMZ voters into Planet of the Apes. This film is a masterpiece and I defy any Leftists to refute any part of it in this thread.

You are associating fiction, TMZ, PA, with nonfiction, laws, fines, finance. Sure the are abstractly fictitious.

Logic will not allow you to compare fiction with nonfiction.

Yes I know my debate style will incorporate both elements, but that really doesn't work.

Of course you can imagine things that don't exist, or the opposite.  That was RFK's famous line, about how he see's things that haven't happened and imagine's why not.

Indeed, by definition EVERY proposed law is imagining something that isn't happening at the time.  Obama imagined a health care system that didn't exist.  (I am not questioning the value of it now, just saying he imagined what it would be like if the country had it.)

MLK imagined a society without Jim Crow.  In fact, at the time, the south (and Boston) had Jim Crow, but MLK said, what if it doesn't exist.

Imagining something that doesn't exist is just thinking of the alternative.

Which I imagined didn't completely relate to one another.

I know that men often think about things in a more structured, linear and logical way than women do.

The line from the original post that grabbed me was:
"All I can promise all of you is that you will run the gamut of emotions while watching this movie".

When so few movies really move me, it is really compelling to watch something that a gent says is emotionally moving because that is even more of a guarantee that the film will stir up emotions, and I love to absorb art, watch films, see dance performances that create some sort of emotional swirl in my soul.

That coupled with the fact that Dinesh D'Souza is of Indian heritage just like I am and is well known in literary circles motivate me to make sure I check this out soon

I wish we had a thousand more like him.

Have Lincoln involved in a gay relationship, blame the Depression on the ancestors of George Bush and blame the severe winter of 1776 on climate change. That's worth at least 2 more stars.

...He admitted making $20,000 in illegal campaign contributions.  Republicans are forgiving and would support the movie because they love giving people second chances - as long as they are Republicans.

What he showed in that first one is coming true but you'll never get lefty - I voted for a muzzie pig who wants to kill America - will ever admit

And a criminal scumbag at that. As far as I'm concerned, the peak of his career was to serve as a punching bag for Christopher Hitchens at a debate.
