one way to do that is by meeting other escorts on line.

There are at least two good sites that come to mind:

escortblogs.net

The last has information on dangerous or otherwise pesky clients that you should stay away from.

Best of luck to you.

Hi everyone,
I am so glad I found this site, reading these posts have been extremely helpful to me. I am a 20-year-old college student in Madison. I currently have a regular relationship with a 47-year-old local man. We meet every week or two, per his request, for dinner and then spend some time at his place.. He pays me $$$ for my companionship. I am in shape, attractive, and have had good reviews of my skills, both interpersonal skills and special skills ;) I am considering taking on more customers, but, especially after reading here, am wary of posting on CL or something (which, unfortunately, is how I met my customer, but I did get personal info from him beforehand to verify and had a phone schedule in place with a girlfriend in case something went wrong at our first meeting..) Is there anyone, provider or hobbyist, who has recommendations or words of wisdom? I am interested in what you think about how, and whether, to start adding more dates to my schedule.. Especially if anyone is in my area, I'd love to hear your input on the scene here.. thanks so much, you guys are great!

I have met many ladies who are "working their way through school."  Being a provider is a great way to make significant $$$ with a very flexible schedule.  Avoid CL!  Put an ad on Eros or CityVibe, post an ad her on TER (you are allowed once a week but not on the Newbie Board) and get your own web site.  There are some "canned web sites" or templates that many of the ladies seem to use.  Good luck!  Unfortunately, I'm in the southern part of the US.

Also, find a trusted provider who you can ask for guidance.  There are certain aspects of the biz such as screening, time management (how to avoid time wasting e-mail exchanges), etc. that a guy just can't help you with.

I have not seen any ads on here by providers.. is there really a place for providers to advertise on TER? Or is it just appropriate to link to the website? I have not even made a site, so am getting a little ahead of myself here.. but I appreciate the suggestions, I will hopefully start compiling some photos etc. and check out the other sites you suggested.. Thanks!

Ladies can advertise their availabilty, days, hours, etc, on a single regional board once a week.  Please note that if a link is included, it must have the TER badge on its first or second page.

KEEP yourself above of that genre!

You can establish an EXtremely cheap web-page with Yahoo giving you your own domain name. They even have a free one (geocities.com); but the band width is very limited which will cause you and your efforts nothing but trouble right from the start. There are also others out there; but I’m mostly familiar with Yahoo. If you go the Yahoo route be sure to not use nudes or overtly provocative pics, and don’t be too graphic or solicitous in your text.

Until you’re savvy enough to handle and do an impromptu, cursory screening of a potential new client by phone I’d recommend advertising only an (anonomous) E-mail address in which to contact you with.  You’ll learn pretty quick which e-mailers are serious about seeing you and which ones are just chronic masturbators looking for more photos in which to abuse themselves by. The time wasting lonely losers looking for a pen pal will also become quickly recognizable to you in short order.
When you get a potential client that has no previous references, commercial reference association, TER reviews, or will afford you absolutely no screening data;(IE name, contact number, their business number et) simply drop em’ like a hot rock.

A pretty gal with common sense and basic business savvy/ethics can make serious bank in this craft whether it be full time or part time.

The best of luck to ya'

There are a lot of Madisons out there, but check local board if this applies and ask other providers in your area for help.
You can also do a TER search by city or phone area codes to pull a list of providers in your area and seek their help.
There are blogs a plenty out there, here is one that may interest you to start with:

One question I have specifically is the location? I have my own apartment but I don't think I would want clients coming here, as it is small and I have pets, etc. If I do outcall only will that cut into my business or is that pretty standard? If I were w/ an agency would they provide an incall location? I don't really want to have someone else managing me or taking my profits.. Do independents ever just rent a hotel room to do incall? What about ads that say "uscale hotels only" etc.. for independent escorts, are most clients travelling businessmen staying at hotels, or do you get lots of requests from local men, ie. homeowners or apartments? Thanks..

Also, someone suggested I contact local providers.. there are no local boards as I'm in WI slash middle of nowhere, although I did search the reviews and found a good 15 or so in Madison with my area code.. Is it pretty competitive, or would it be ok as far as the etiquette of contacting other local women? Would they be offended or concerned that I was going to cut into their business?

Thanks for all your ideas so far. I checked out the College Call Girl blog, that is a really good (and entertaining) resource, thanks for the link.

They may be seeking some contact to battle isolation as much as you are.  In any case, the worst thing that can happen is that they'll say "not interested."

As for outcall versus incall, either way, you'll lose some market share as some men don't like the idea of going to another person's place and want to have their own room.  Do not go on an outcall to a man's house or apartment; too dangerous for a number of reasons, unless you get to know and trust them.

On the other hand, some men have no choice but to have incalls as they won't pony up for a hotel room and their own place is off limits.
Best is to be able to provide both, but that means renting an apartment or getting a hotel room for each incall appointment, and that can be expensive.  See what other providers in your area do and what they find most profitable.

I don't think I would want clients coming here--Correct, unless you have been with them at least once and feel comfortable

If I do outcall only will that cut into my business--Somewhat, but if that is what you need to do, then proceed.

If I were w/ an agency would they provide an incall location--Yes, but they will be managing you AND taking your profits (usually 50% of gross).

Do independents ever just rent a hotel room to do incall?--Yes.

What about ads that say "uscale hotels only" etc.--This means you will not go to a Motel 6 to meet a guy.

Are most clients traveling businessmen staying at hotels--larger cities yes.  Advantage is that neither you nor the guy foots the cost of the hotel room (paid by his company).

DON'T go to a guys home or apartments!

From experience of more than one provider I know, they actually started out with just outcall until they were established, then improved their websites and finally offered incall at no-tell motel etc.  Since you are in Madison, I would dare say there are lots of affordable smaller apartments available to support the campus folks.

I searched area code 608 for providers and filtered results for good websites only - came up with 25 hits.  I would take a look at reviews and profiles of these ladies and determine who to contact from that, along with checking the Other Cities Regional board and doing a search back sixty days or so for keyword Madison.

Also try other website listing escorts such as Escorts.com, Eros-Wisconsin etc.

Good luck!

I'm 57 and have had the kind of relationship you have with your guy.  While it wouldnt matter to me, you have to consider whether he'd object to your working.  He may consider it a very special relationship.  this may be important to you or not.  But once you start advertising in your area, he's sure to find out.

My recommendation?  Come to the Twin Cities for a tour -- spend a weekend here and see half a dozen guys.  You can do the same in Chicago.  Put an an on Eros as a visitor.  That way, you keep your local visibility and activity down, but get the advantage of the $$.  Consider a website, but be careful.  (I manage my gf's biz so I know a little about it).  PM me if you want further ideas.  or email at [email protected]

I will be more than happy to help you with your first review!  I can even get you Date-Check verified another great tool of this trade.

Have fun, be safe, like Nike says "Just Do It!"

Tell me where you are located.  I am interested in meeting someone for exciting GFE in early May in *********

Dude you need to learn to read through the thread.  She clearly revealed her city and state, and is no where near where you are asking about.

This is your 2nd inappropriate post that I've had to  edit.  Please read the rules of the board on the link below.  This is not the place to try to hook up with a specific lady.
