2nd phone

I'm not sure having possession of a 2nd phone is going to keep spouses in the dark for long -- it is a logistical problem of having it be useful and yet having to hide it all the time.

Ladies -- I figured I would ask on this board, for which I am definitely qualified and on which we have some great and civil discussions!

With the common-sense idea of using prepaid and anonymous hobby phones to set up appointments and such, how do you reconcile us guys using them and your need for screening?  Almost everyone notes on their websites that they don't accept blocked calls.  I guess I've never used my burner phone to call my regular phone, so I don't know what the Caller ID looks like.  It certainly wouldn't have my name.  Can you tell that it's a prepaid hobby phone and not a blocked Caller ID?

Thanks and have a great day!

I was thinking of getting one as well.
But what about the fact that I am already using "my phone", what now??
Anything on this subject would be appreciated.

A little bit about the phones here:

Note the part about  Registering the hobby phone # with any verification services you use.

I like Trac phone, Its $10-40 for phone, and you can buy minute cards everywhere cheap.
I delete everything after each encounter and turn it off when I am not entertaining.

Hope that helps a little 😊

As a victim of a girlfriend's rage because of a careless client, I encourage you to use a burner phone. My "provider" phone is one that I bought second hand(it is a smart phone) and I just pay the bare minimum of $30 per month with a national established phone company. You can request that your name remain anonymous, because they aren't sending you a bill. The caller ID shows the phone number.
When my phone rings with the logo "blocked number" or "unknown number", I simply do not answer it. There has to be a level of trust by both parties involved. Hope that helps...

Many of my gents use one phone for the "hobby"
and most are pre-paid Throw away phones...
The gals can verify you in so many other ways!!! references...ect!!
99% of my gents are married..so that x-tra secret phone is a must...
I do not use the phone as verification...
NO you can not tell if it is a pre-paid tele...
it will come up just the number  on caller id or a cell phone...
or SELECT discreet providers and tell them when they can call or no calls!!

hope some of this info helps
HEY..... the providers are lucky you called them to schedule a appt..they can verify you in so many other ways!!
Hugs.. to all the TER gents and ladies
you are all the best!! and I love the 60 plus board!!!

Keri Diamonds Vip

I use an App on my I-phone. It's called Hushed.
Just download it , you get to pick the number from the list they offer and also pick the plan. I pay 29.99 for a year worth of text messages and calls. No need to carry separate phones!
Hope this helps.
Enjoy!!

I verify with RS2K most frequently..... so you have to contact me from the phone # listed on your membership information; it doesn't matter to me what KIND of phone it is, though.

With other types of verification, I may ask your provider-references to confirm your contact info.   Again, it doesn't matter what type of phone you used, just so long as I can get confirmation that you used that same number with them.

My polices may not seem logical, but they work for me!  :-)

NOONER: (noun) A sexual encounter during lunch hour, especially one that is illicit

either the incoming number or it indicates the number is blocked. So there is no indication whether the phone is a burner or not.

I'd say the only way it is a detriment is that when you look to verify a gent on Verify him that site won't show any history on the phone as it applies to the gent, but if he has other ways of screening, such as being whitelisted, etc. that isn't an issue anyway.

keep it in the trunk of your car or office, use it and store it

TF offered me a free phone...  shipped to me...  so I just went & bought another TF at WM for 14.99?  My phone is registered to the default address in Florida...
I had no trouble transfering to the new one.  The old 2G can not be re-activated without a new sim so it'll just go in the trash.
I've had no trouble hiding the phone over 10 years.
