You said your friend is 3/4 white, and 1/4 white. Simple addition would say she's predominantly white, but you can she that she is also of African descent. Which proves her "black" DNA is the dominate DNA found in her genetic make-up.

DA the scientist, is there a more indepth mathematical break down we could look at to prove which genes are the dominant genes?

Wouldn't want to call a white girl asian by mistake.

I noticed that a lot of people refer to a person who's 50% asian 50% non-asian as just 'asian'. Just on this board alone, I noticed several instances where people forget about the other 50%. Most recent being when RT referred to Olivia Munn as an asian girl.  Technically she's German/Irish and Chinese.

It's not just RT but many others. If it was just RT we'd all dismiss it as him being a tad clueless but it's actually an epidemic. lol A mixed-french/asian provider I know also says ppl refer to her as the asian girl. Most of my mixed friends state the same. It's odd because somehow people seem to prefer to call mixed person an asian... instead of white. How come just asian? Where did the white part disappear to? LOL You call someone like DA an asian, but Olivia is 50% asian 50% white. Not that there's anything wrong or superior being pure or mixed, just that there's a difference and it's odd how a mixed is never called the 'white' even tho they are 50%.

Is it more about people liking or pointing out something exotic? Or is it more of an ignorance?
Just curious what non-asians think about this.

It's also becoming a tad bit dumb to ask a fluent-english speaking asian or mixed asian where we're REALLY from. I grew up in america and am an american just like the rest of you white folks. Let me tell you fellow americans, that's EXACTLY the same as asking you where YOU'RE REALLY from? Ireland? Russia? Italy? Germany? Austrailia? Canada? England? Outer space?  District 9? Andromeda? Alpha Centauri?  Who the heck is REALLY from America? Only native americans!  Just saying.  It never bothered me cuz I get it that asians don't blend in like how germans/italians can blend in. But guess what, asians look far more like native americans. DOH! We're not the foreigners here. :)

Remember, asians existed before native americans. Are mixed asians fair?  Are asians fair? You won't find me discussing mixed asians anywhere in this post. I'm 100% certain it's yellow. :D

My BFF of 2 decades is 3/4 Caucasian and 1/4, African-American(her ethnic description preference).

She's an "old broad" like me(according to the standards of this board that I've observed) yet, a mirror-image of Halle Berry. Just stunning.

Her loveliness, is breathtaking. Her extraordinary INNER beauty, is inspiring. I'm very fortunate to know and love her.  I will eternally thank my folks, for NEVER letting "us kids" think color is anything but beautiful.  Color, makes my heart happy.

I never thought about whether it was important as far as human beings before. NOT something I'd waste time pondering.

I'm a lucky, happy lady. Thank you for reminding me.

Happy weekend to you and ALL of us who represent the "rainbow".
                                         Hugs!

parts of Eastern Europe to find pure Caucasian girl these days. Colonial era, world wars and other wars in Europe made the gene pool lot more diverse than Caucasians like to admit.

...know you were 100% Asian.  I always thought you were 100 proof.  ;-)

The Forest of Apricot Schnapps waits!

Aaaaaand, we have to quit misspelling "Forest".  Grampa's name was "Forrest". TWO "r"s.

Trees-ish version(which, I love by the way), requires only one "r".  Wouldn't care much, but hey, I'm talkin' about my grampa. I think you get it

His Fathers genes are Obama's dominant genes. That's why your President is called black.

Ther are still morons out there calling BC black.

In Hawaii, we call them "hapa"

Are rarely called asian. Knew a provider who felt she had been misled when a guy said he was asian and when door opened he was brown. Lol

Yes, East Indians get a bad rap all the time. You are Indian? Yes. Well tepee Indian or dot Indian...Dot I guess. Childish but to some people it matters and they don't know exactly what to call them.

In the case of African mixes, they tend to have brown skin so that's how people describe them. One gal I've been with is half Japanese and half African-American.  She's one of the most strikingly beautiful women I've ever seen but most people would describe her as black.
And, of course, there's that dirt-bag GaG, whom I've called a Semi-Sino-Sicilian.  His Chinese features predominate so the Sicilian part is hidden unless he tells you.  In Costa Rica, they call him "Chinito" (Little Chinaman), which says it all.
Then there's Rasha, whom I'm also fortunate to know.  Full blooded Indian (dot not feathers) and one of the most exotically gorgeous creatures on the planet.  Honey-colored skin and no mix, so I'm not sure what that proves.

Good point on what people actually look like though, but I'm thinking that depends on perspective too.

There's a mixed girl in cali whom I saw a few times, her white friends consider her asian but to me she doesn't look fully asian a bit more white actually, with a hint of asian. So the possibility is that an asian guy would call her the white girl if she was in a city full of asians but since she looks more asian than most whites, the white guys call her the asian girl. That actually makes more sense.

btw I wonder why people in Costa Rica call gag 'little' though.
Are the chicas talking about his stature... or the size of his ____ ?  :

well, actually she is mixed Russian and Indian with some Turkish thrown in there somewhere. Anyway, they're all in Asia so I figure she is entirely Asian.

Or maybe she is an Amerasian mix, because she was born here in the US; it's her ancestry that is Asian. I guess she could even be full on American.

She does have an amazing skin tone, sort of a white/yellow/ebony blend, and the most amazing eyes. I think she looks exotic.

Me, I'm just a mutt.

Thanks for the education. Just an old southern red neck (do you know the real meaning of red neck) mutt here. I guess the point here is the next time I describe someone here I need to use more artistic and less anthropologic terms. I don't want to be known for offensive racist comments.

Having said that, I really am curious about where people come from. I am in America, in one name branch of my family, for 275 years. It was exciting to find the town that family came from. There are still close familial relatives there. I just love learning about people, whether it is history, culture or just what town you went to school in.

Now the question, which is better and why, in your opinion. Classic Asian looks, most will think oriental. Asian/mixed? I know I am going to avoid both. Except for that review check box.

Rolled into one.  Yet when asked about my nationality, they automatically peg me as "German".  No motherfucker, I'm American.  Meliting pot remember!!! At least I'm white, whatever that means.  Although my eyes ARE a little squinty.

As for DA's point, people want to peg others into a category, just like music or literature or movies.  This way they think they know what they are getting and God forbid they shop outside their comfort zone.  What do you mean you can't classify that song as Rock and Roll!  I won"t listen!!!  Or what do you mean that book isn't really a Mystery!  I only read Myseries!  Or worse, Oh that movie is Science Fiction?  I don't watch Science Fiction, it's too weird.  People are STUPID.  Just like, "oh I don't like Asian chicks they don't speak English, or they have flat asses, or tiny boobs, or whatever.  it's a crock of shit.  People are people, no matter their ethnicity.  They come in all shapes sizes and colors and mixtures thereof.  Go by your preferences of course, hell, it's your money, but quit with the categorizing.  When I see a listing for a gal of mixed heritage I look at the photo.  If she's cute I don't care if she's half Martian.

When did fucking something other than a human being, become an acceptable desire among other humans?

because "Asian" is in demand by well heeled white clients.   Take a look at DC and I am sure many other areas and you will see that among the providers with 9 appearance ratings or 9 average ratings  "Asians" are hugely statistically over-represented.   "Asian" is a huge selling point.  I've known providers who had zero "Asian" ancestry but a bit of an exotic look and claimed "Asian"....

It is well established that for a complex of reasons some of them aesthetic, some sociological,  white males consider Asian women to be highly feminine and desirable.....

So even those providers who list themselves as hyphenated Asians most often make *sure* that their profile says "Asian"......

My worst personally was seeing someone with dark skin and tight curly hair call herself "Lumbee Indian". A good time but she was not Indian. But she did use her own pictures.

I feel that white males view Asian ladies as more submissive and compliant than their white American counterparts, more than just feminine and desirable. Just another thought...

-- Modified on 6/27/2014 5:54:02 AM

I wouldn't describe Asian women as masculine. I sure wouldn't use feminine either, I might be wrong when I use the word feminine. When I use the word feminine I'm thinking ass, hips, and tits. Asian women might be dainty, and petite... is dainty and petite necessarily feminine? I think not.

Asian spinners are my favorite "type" whether or not they are from here or actually from Asia. For me it's the look not the attitude.

I'm like that dog in "up" that is distract by a squirrel. There can be numerous women walking down the street, but my eye naturally finds the Asian woman, even when I have other things than women on my mind. It's the look and the shape.

Flock to the K-girls, is the direct result of the Korean war, along with some kind of guilt complex. That causes the American White Male, to humanise who used toto be the enemy. Thus creating a sexual desire for Korean women.

... or they just like having their asshole licked.

Lets see if the Gulf, Irag, Afgahn Vets have the same type of crush on Arab women.

The percentage of Brazilian women in the business seems much, much higher than that of the general US population.  From this I can only conclude that there's either a lot of Brazilian women who head to the US to be providers, or there's a lot of providers with big butts who dye their hair black and frequent spray tan salons.

The world hates white people. You just showed us the genocide to prove this fact.

BTW all Americans look-a-like.

bit of that and at the end...VOILA....A MUTT.......LOL
So is Tiger Woods black or is he still eurasian or????

What's political or religious about this topic? I do understand how the P&R board is felt to be the garbage pit of TER so I guess that explains why it got dumped in this repository.

BTW, after 3-1/2 paragraphs you answered your own question, people's primary judgement in ethic classification is based on appearance. Given just appearance, it tends to tack heavily toward the observable minority component. I missed the previous post that probably puts my response out of context but I haven't been to the GD board in months. Now, to the question about where is someone from? I typically wait for them to open their mouth before making that judgment

Why the hostility in almost every post toward me?

Just cuz an Asian drunk out erects you in penis size and has more game than you in every way doesn't mean you should express your jealously so much.  :)

My objection to this post was against it being dumped in P&R land. Someone else deemed it garbage in order to do so.

Once you got to your 4th paragraph you should have just hit delete.

You seem to assume your opinion matters.  It doesn't the least bit.

Maybe if you weren't so dumb and racially prejudiced / ignorant people would actually listen to yo

declare racism where none exists.

You've either had too much to drink or not enough because your bipolarization is showing.

If you could understand my post you would know I was reminding you that you praise people for not using ad-hominem attacks while you continually use them yourself.

To help you in advance, the bipolar comment stems from your recent appraisal of none other than me as being one of the more reasonable people here.

-- Modified on 6/29/2014 6:17:50 PM

Even the ones that are legit and make a completely valid point about white people asking dumb questions to asian americanns and you call it garbage. Why do you bother responding if you thought it was trash?  I take it you're a white guy. lol

Obviously I need to retract the non-adhominem since you call a normal guy a bipolar. :P
I haven't ever heard that from anyone in my civvy life. But then no one I'm close to in real life suffers from stupid... must have something to do with them being non religious and not suffering from mass delusion.  rof

My response about your post was essentially the same as inicky's, which you agreed with. Given that it all boils down to what people look like, not what they label themselves then yea, it was a stupid post.

You've in-artfully retracted something? Does this mean you still label me as a racist?

My negativity is typically only in response to things I perceive as negative. I'll try to come across with less negativity in the future.

This actually makes me kind of sad. I love my step-mom very much. She's kind,  sweet and empathetic to all.

She's also humble, despite being the daughter of one of Mexico City's most prominent attorneys, educated beyond any aspirations I may ever achieve and speaks five languages, FLUENTLY.
She loved my father to the depths of her soul, for the 10 yrs. they were married and nursed him through the 3mos. from his diagnosis-til passing from lung cancer.
I wish I could be half the woman/angel, she is.
I think I'll call and tell her again, how much I love her.

It's when Americans think that USA is the best country to live in...
Many countries have better education system for kids,  some developed nations have overall better technology in their infrastructure such as subways,  buses,  phones, ... And some countries have Internet speeds 10x faster than the fastest consumer speed in America.   On average USA is still a great place to be but by no means is it the top in every area...  :)

Very true!

I'd have to agree with you one one thing.: other countries being less exposed to a diverse range of races.  America is actually one of the least racist nations.  There are countries that are more diverse with the Asian group though, don't forget that the asian crowd are the minority in America.

Only thing I disagree would be that I've traveled to and visited far more other countries than you think.  I'm pretty sure donkey land is the only place you've been to,  if you can't escape that fake brogue.  Rofl

It's the first semi intelligent thing he's said since coming on this board.

Asian's are more intolerant about "mixed breed" people than are whites, in general at least. There are some fruit cake white people like the skin heads and our very own James Cuntally, and there are some asians that actually encourage the Euro Asian mixtures like the Thai's, but in general, Asians are a very racist bunch.

and thanking blokes are naive to it is ignorant . Same as it be wit LR.

Always remember jobko 'twas you being a WK to an old chippie on another board that started it . Till then me never came on its board

If so,  you really need to hump some more donkeys cuz bestiality is a requirement in order to be more like jca lol

I can see creating an idiotic persona like this one back in the days of multiple aliases, but to waste one's only alias on an character as stupid as this fake Irishman, only proves how stupid he really is.

As much as he seems to hate Asians, I wonder if some Asian guy has been fucking his wife? That would explain a lot.

Personally, I have a thing for mixed asians.  Not YOU, lmfao...
I mean female mixed asians.

I'm wondering what these asians are so intolerant about mixed asians though. What's there to be intolerant about when the mixed guys tend to have the best of both worlds.
Jealousy maybe?   Mixed asians tend to be taller most asians, that's always a good thing. Unless they got the worst of both worlds... in that case, that would be a disaster. lol

I am talking about Asians "back home", especially in places like Korea and Vietnam where there are many mixed kids from American and European soldiers that are treated like lepers.

Remember Hines Ward? Until he got famous most Koreans shunned him because he was black, excuse me, half black, of course their tune changed once he got rich and famous.

The notable exception to this I have found is Thailand. They love mixed "Eurasians" in that country and it seems like an inordinate number of their movie stars and other entertainers are of mixed heritage. I don't know why this is so, but I've heard it from enough Thai girls that I am forced to believe it.
