Yes, LE would love to get all of us.  Yes, some AMPs got busted ( I never go to those places) and some schedulers hightailed it out of town (who the hell are these girls you guys are seeing who can't use a phone or computer anyway)?  But "Jess" didn't put any of us in any more danger than we are on any typical hobbying day.  Oh, and you think "Jess" talking to the media is bad?  I've been talking to representative Cheryl Youakim about decriminalizing our hobby.  Now, she doesn't know I participate, but she probably suspects.  So go wet your pants and cower in fear.  People of color, gays, and transsexuals didn't get where they are today by hiding in the closet.  And dammit, as a hobbyist, I don't hide in the closet either.  My own daughter knows that I do this.  And I will continue to stick my neck out for myself, and for the providers I love and adore so much, until government catches up with the rest of society and starts decriminalizing our hobby.  Now make like a bunch of hippies, peace out, and make love, not war!!!

I haven't been on here long, but totally agree that it seems to be a place that people get their kicks bashing others.

It really needed to be said, and who better than the person who IMO does the most to uphold the tradition that made this a fun place to be in the past.

as in the past, it only takes a couple trolls to

turn this board into a paranoid spiteful name calling mess.  We all know who they are.  They know who they are.  Every one knows that they get a sadistic kick out of playing Uproar and keeping scoring by how many people's feeling they can hurt while they pretend to just giving hobby news.  

I just got back from a lovely session.
This activity is no more dangerous today than it was last month or three years ago.  
If you are too paranoid to play, don't play.
If you want to use the board to quietly contact people interested in the activity, that is what it is for.
But trash talking disrupts rather than conveys news. It drives wonderful clients and providers off this board.
It has been said before, 'Don't feed the trolls' especially those who wave their Free Speech Flag to justify their puerile insults. But it is true. Stop giving them the gratification of feeding them. Stop PMing them.  Providers, you know how to blacklist them--do so, if you choose to do so. Never pillow talk with them--they leak out of spite.  Those of us in this community for the exchanges it makes possible have no reason or desire to be indiscreet

I used to spend abt half an hour a day on ter.  I now look for abt a min in mornings, and when I get home from work.

I agree.  I check the board maybe once a week at most. I don't want to muffle free speech but I've just move on to other conversation methods.  It does wonders for ones mental health.

If you don't like something on TV or radio, you change the channel.  If you don't like something in here, move along.  When I read something that is BS, I'll call it BS.  I'm not here to "make friends."  I'm here to exchange information, and I don't care what someone's favorite color is or their favorite song or if they just returned from a trip.  Take it to Facebook or Twitter.

I've had people who don't know me/have never met me write crap about me in here too. Some of it is pretty dumb shit, too. Evidence is in a thread today.  Big deal.  No harm to me.  Who's going to be the arbiter of what's evil? You?  If I want to look at pics, I'll go to those sites.  Glad TER halted that practice.  If I needed to be complimented in the morning, I'd pay a hooker to spend the night.  But I don't need that to start my day.

You wrote that half the people in here hate people they don't know.  How do you know that?  People come here for different reasons.  And because their reasons are not the same as yours, you just call them haters.
