I've thought it too. I have a pretty cool office space to hang out in. But....that'd be the hour someone comes back to get their laptop....Murphy's Law.  

If you are an employee and someone walks in on you, a co-worker is either going to have blackmail evidence against you or might be offended enough to compliain to the boss or HR. Neither is palatable. If someone came to me complaining in an HR sort of way, my hands would be tied. In spite on my sympathies, I'd have to let the person go to avoid harassment cases, etc. as it would violate our policies. Which are in place only as a necessity to avoid lawsuits against employers.

If you are the boss/owner, then you'd face getting caught by an employee and talk about a blackmail or lawsuit situation! I shudder to think.  

Fraught with peril that is! Fraught. Not recommended IMHO.

How about just renting office space for an evening? Here are some websites to help you find the right space, or as the article says, "Where nomad entrepreneurs can rent office space for a day or two.

Many a day may be spent at work fantasizing about an after hours encounter....but as other responders to this post have noted, dangers lurk if you try it at your work locale.  If you need a "work gone wild" fantasy, I am sure you can find a provider that will role play and dress up in business attire for a session and agree to play along with an "after work meeting " scenario.  Try the rent an office suggestion if really need to get that "in the office" fix- although what would that cost? Otherwise, I say find a provider with a up-scale in-call location.  Use the "office area" of the room for some of the fun.

I'm an IT guy and trust me, unless you are the owner of the company (or the IT guy) you don't know if there are cameras in the office "for security".

would sneak me into her workplace when she was on nights.  The place was nearly deserted but we still nearly got caught.  Once, she got a call from security because the motion detectors where she was were acting strange even though we were moving with our arms around each other...  she was the only one supposed to be in that building.  There are more cameras these days as the cost is so low now.  

Man we took some crazy chances but she's the one who would have been fired!  (Or had to deal with a coworker.)   I was young & dumb...  
 
Didn't I just read about a co-worker couple who did it against the glass...  folks in the adjacent building recorded it.  They were fired.  

If I were to try it again...  stay away from windows & viewing points.  Don't mess with other people's work areas because you'll never get them back right.  Your private office?  A empty conference room?  Maybe.
