Could be on an extended vacation?
My guess is it will be a permanent vacation. And if/when he un-retires, my other guess is that he will be working in new profession. But I think the hobby has been quite lucrative for him, so he'll probably enjoy retirement after some issues are resolved.
I'm not so sure she ain't. For now.
