Just saw a provider who previously used Em as her scheduler. She is now doing her own scheduling as are many of the women who used Em's services. No police, no FBI, no problems...the sky is not falling. The guy simply retired. She said it is something he had planned to do in the not too distant future. Then because of a recent bust was feeling some heat and decided to make the move now.
Done, end of story!! Happy hobbying, play safe!!
Not sure whom you saw, but I KNOW (not just see) some of those girls. There are some who are clueless. I don't mean that in a derogatory manner- just that they are NOT in the know. Most of Em's girls never even had access to their own emails, ads, or accounts. They merely showed up, collected a fee, and paid Em. They are uneducated about the industry. A number of girls are not coming back because they are scared, so I think it's more than he "retired." Perhaps that provider is just trying to get you at ease. If it was Em's plan, then why was it sudden? Without ANY notice to the girls who made him rich?

I too have known some massage women and I would agree with LYT that the majority had no control over their emails, their ads or their TER profile and most didn't even know what was said about them in their reviews unless the studio owner told them.
If I had his business and I planned to retire I would have gotten the word out because I guarantee there would be a number of providers, studio owners and possibly hobbyists that would have been interested in buying the business. Financially it makes no sense to just shut down and walk away and on top of leaving a lot of women hanging. A number of them will rebound and some probably already have but quite a few are not up to the task of scheduling and screening on their own and have no interest in doing so. There is a void that will need to be filled.
I understand there is a time and place for using aliases, but if you're siting there telling us all is safe, why hide behind your alias?

To begin, I am very far removed from all that is taking place, So I am at best, just commenting on what I have read.
However, in examining the present situation, and putting together pieces of the puzzle, I have to agree with LYT, that No everything is Not the status quo.
A few threads down from this, there is the presence of someone, who was a smaller scheduler, who has stated, he is afraid, and thus quitting his business, due to the recent activities.
Then as has been published in the media, there is the bust of individuals who were involved with the BA ( Trafficked women ) and the fact that LE has been monitoring the coming and going of women, and clients, and recording faces, places, times, and so on.
Then there is the arrest of the BP CEO, and a couple of major share holders.
Add in the other lesser known bust of a provider, and the sudden departure / retirement of a large scheduler, ( EM ) and the possibility of LE going after him, and his data base ?
And then the provider, who allowed an interview and article, by the print media, and the fact that she is none to concerned, as she reveals certain fetish of a few clients, and then goes on to describe their physical appearance, ( how many gents resemble santa clas ? ) LOL can you say non discreet ? ( or attention grabbing loud mouth lacking ethics )
And add it all up, and As wongbater has been advising, there are certainly troubles in hobby land, and Not every thing is business as usual. Is the sky falling ? Each individual, shall have to determine how the events affect them in their own lives.
A better way to present this, is for me to ask, Are all of the recent events, Normal everyday occurrences in hobby land ?
I can affirm, that yes, arrests do take place, and is an expected risk. However add in all the other recent events, and ask, is this the norm ?
My guess, is that this is well outside what many would consider the norm in hobby land.

Alias or handle. Does it matter? If the person's alias and/or handle have a number of reviews, then perhaps I can believe it.
I've been hobbying for about 5 years......don't have an alias, don't need one. I pay for VIP, never write reviews...read the boards and occasionally comment. Always try to be respectful of others. I just wanted to share my experience. I don't have an agenda or a horse in this race. I'm reading stuff that is emotionally charged and causes distress and panic.
A guy who was a scheduler retired, not busted. No search warrants, no indictments, no subpoenas. To my knowledge he was professional in the way he conducted his business and I never had any issues with him.
Do we all need to be careful, cautious, discreet and aware ?? Always
The providers I see are all mature, intelligent, experienced and very professional in the way they conduct their business. They are wonderful women and I will continue to see them. So for me nothing has changed and that's my 2 cents

1. The recent bust of the guy in MN (I believe the BA) type thing
2. BP bust of the CEO (a whole shit storm could come of this one)
3. Other busts in MN
4. Election Year (more busts)
5. ETC.
So to say what the OP said isn't true isn't 100% correct. Also saying what loves... is saying isn't true either.

he danger is to think that “more risk is OK when less risk will do”. EM and company broke the rules and played far more risks than necessary for greed and personal gain. Anyone who knew, now including me, that knows of EM and company and the details of his enterprise that all came out in the past week in the back channels as schedulers and providers began to talk with the frenzy for requests for new schedulers. Now we all know what was going on behind the big curtain of big scheduling here in Minneapolis: the recruitment of fresh meat and compelling them to demonstrate their skills to the big boss before dispatching them to massage brothels around the city and distribution of their nude photos to any and all newly scheduled hobbyists or potential LE while maintaining full control of their emails and accounts of TER and passwords.
Then there is the danger to the hobbyist and having to give their Facebook or Linkdin account and identities to the BIG Boss. It was easy and the quickest path to seeing that sweet meat today! A whole menu at your fingertips today, within the hour even. Fast, convenient and just hand over your identity and we promise to delete it. Yah, right.
And then there’s Jess. The coincidence of timing of her expose in the City Pages article is alarming. The journalist said that Jess “demands secrecy” but many members here and in her personal life just have to read it to know her real identity, let alone the paraplegic man who looks like Santa mentioned in the article and further details on how this industry is running in the cities for many more people to understand it’s mechanics. Jess said that her ex-husband doesn’t know she is a prostitute, he does now. She also said that he got custody of her children when he found out she was swinging years ago in the article. What will he do with their children now? This is Jess’ grasp of “demanding secrecy.” We are all subject to Jess’ grasp of secrecy and discretion. She has made the hobby more transparent to LE and anyone who knows her and reads the BOLD PINK FRONT COVER STORY, feature article, to the twin cities City Pages. The article taunts LE by saying that LE is not interested in her. Now they are more interested than ever and the timing coincides with EM retiring because a warrant is issued and his history is catching up to him again.
This industry just got really hot here in the twin cities.
