I have a great Bond story.

One for the former Bond actors lives in my neighborhood and over the years we'd run into each other at the local Starbucks.  One morning a few years ago he'd parked his car right by the front window. Now I don't know whether he bought the AM or they gave it to him, but that's the car he had that day, and it glistened in the early morning sunlight -- silver, spotless and gorgeous. Now in real life and at 7:30 in the morning he doesn't look like the movie poster, in fact with a few days growth and sunglasses a casual observer might not recognize him.  So as we were sipping our morning coffee and chatting a car pulls up and parks next to the AM and out pour four very cute college coeds.  They all notice the shiny car next to them and began to inspect it like it was a piece of sparkly jewelry.  The actor points out the window, and with sight smile and says to me: ''See that? They used to look at me the way.''
It was a great moment. Funny, truthful and a bit sad all at the same time.
So I guess if we're not tall, handsome and confident like James Bond we better be fucking rich and drive a really cool car.

Loved this article ... especially since I'm a pure sucker for James Bond. Especially the Daniel Craig variety of Bond.

Confident? Masculine? Calm?

See what research says about this enviable fictional hero.

shaken, not stirred,

Plus the looks doesn't hurt.. Casino Royale and Skyfall are by far my favorites..! Fun fact: If you are a fan of cars and James Bond, The Dezer Museum here in Miami has a great collection of cars used in the movies.. (six Aston Martins among many other toys). Amazing place to visit while in South Florida..

When I was a bit younger, one ATF called ME 007.  She still does, but it's more for old times' sake.
Another says I'm her favorite "undercover agent" but the charm could be more in my wallet than in my (now-graying) curly locks.
