Or the bath or hot tub....mmm!    

As for showering before seeing a lady...an obvious no-brainer...do that before leaving home, and shave the face and boys as well.    

And if she asks you to when you arrive...just do it.  If she asks you to as a convenience after the gig is up...say yes if she'll join you.  :)
