Are the majority of NYC guys here from NY, or do you travel?

I love the accent. Really sexy. :D

To say the least...

Each borough has its way, and the ethnicities bring fathomless permutations as well.

To really get to know NYC is to get out of Manhattan.

And the definition of a real NYer is someone originally from somewhere else.

spoken like a New Yorker from someplace else.

In my book you ain't a true New Yorker unless you were born and raised in one of the 5 boroughs or lived there for more than 80-90% of your life

My Mom was born in Manhattan, my father in Queens,my maternal Grandmother on a farm in Brooklyn in 1920 and my maternal Grandfather was born in the Bronx.  My paternal Grandparents were born in Europe, but lived here their entire adult lives in Queens.

Growing up I was the only "American" I knew, everyone else was Irish American, Italian-American, Greek American, Yugo-American, etc.  I'm a mutt with a melting pot background.  My accent is a lot like Archie Bunker.  Hey Edit, git me a beah ova heah!

Live, work, play Manhattan now, from Manchester (UK) originally.

n eye opener for me... I worked with guy who had an accent I could not remotely place. I also could not place his nationality. Maybe he was from the middle east? So after getting to know him a bit I said something like .. "So...
where are you from. I can't place your accent". His response was "I have no accent. YOU have an accent". I had to laugh and ever since then I see the other side. We all have an accent.

PS - he was an Iranian Jew driven out of the country by the Revolution

Yeah, probably not the best way to describe it... I just like it. Very sexy.

what word would someone use in this case? Inquiring minds want to know. :D

I did have a friend who had lost some of his Brooklyn 'accent' (for lack of better words,) and I always knew when he'd been drinking when we chatted. It all came flying out at that point lol. No slur, just all Brooklyn. :D

...she doesn't really need it. To help the cause, i'll say that CO is one of the smarter, more real, and sexier girls from Chi town.

Don't know what she has against me but I'd still recommend her based on BC'ing. I'm still having fun. She, not so much. Stepping away from the boards for awhile helps. She's still cute though.

Yeah, I'm getting a photo shoot out there. I wanted to spend time out there just for fun. I decided to just learn the city and enjoy myself.

I'll get to meet a few providers as well, and ask some questions, etc. I would eventually like to serve NYC, however, I will probably try to pre book appt's instead.

Been there before, I just never had anyone to show me around.

Living in Chicago is amazing, and I'm sure the night life out there is even better. :D

I mostly visit for biz, visit relatives,  or social events,  or just to hobby.

No NY accent though.  No Jersey accent.  No dmv accent either,  not sure if there's even any DC Maryland Virginia accent actually.  :D
