Anyone heard of LE setting up stings using "providers" with p411 or date-check or is that too much effort? Is a provider having a 12+ reviews alone on TER solid enough to book in some of the experienced hobbyists opinion?

Yes, I would have no worries about a woman having a dozen reviews secretly being LE. Although nothing is 100% risk free here, that would be more than enough to satisfy me.
I suppose it's possible for LE to set up a sting via Date-check or P411, but you do need to ask yourself why they would do so when it's so much easier to set up a sting using Back Page instead.
LE is a bit lazy and likes to make the most of their resources, they could keep the jails completely full of hookers and johns with only a little bit of effort, why should they do it the "hard way" when the "easy way" yields such fruitful results?
LE is "REALLY fucking" lazy! Also, accurate answers to question like that in the original post are very jurisdictional specific. If you're in LA, Chicago or NY, vice is definitely going to take the easy route and go for the low-hanging fruit. I've a friend who is a senior prosecutor in a major SoCal city who told me that ALL of their cases in this arena are off of Backpage.
That said, of course there's LE on these boards but once again, the kind of sting operation suggested through a site like this is unlikely for exactly the reasons suggested above.
What would be the impact if LE put together a sting through P411 and snagged a few TER members before being outed?
Could they point to tangible results and say that their enforcement chilled the overall activity level of consenting adults?
Would those P411 results be greater than their typical BP type of busts? And what's the dollar cost and manpower investment by the agency between the two types of actions?
In my opinion they have enough low hanging fruit on BP to fulfill any quota demands without setting up a complex scheme with limited long-term success potential - one person who sings will shut down the P411 sting vs the revolving door of BP ads. And I don't know, but it's possible the bylaws of P411 would have been violated in such a way that they could bring action against the agency and/or the agent(s) involved.

to be considered "well reviewed" but you need VIP to read the full reviews & to check out the reviewers. Experienced reviewers should have 10 - 12 reviews & some of them should be of well reviewed providers...
As has been said, there is no such thing as risk free. Any hobby that is any fun has an element of danger. We manage the risk by being kowledgeable & devoluping appropriate skills. In this hobby, it means investing in research.

And don't mention money AND services on the phone, in emails, texts, or when you see her. As long as LE can't tie the two together with evidence, they can't bust you. You can ask a provider what's on the menu, but don't then start asking for rates per service. You can ask a provider how much for 2 hours, but then don't ask what acts the perform. Remember, it's perfectly legal for two strangers to have sex. It's also perfectly legal to pay someone for their time, or to do pretty much anything else (dance for you, private photo shoot, massage, etc). It's only illegal to DO BOTH TOGETHER. As long as they don't catch you agreeing to or proposing sth like "I'll pay 200 for half an hour of sex or 100 for a BBBJ" they can't bust you.
