Some time ago, who worked at the fair in one of the food booths.  I think she was in a coffee vendor and she posted on here about it.  Anyone else remember her?

Pronto pups baby! Of course the fair wouldn't be the same without the corn on the cob, hot & fresh mini doughnuts, & I can't pass up the deep fried veggies & milk & cookies.

Darn it Karley! Now I'm starving!

pancake sandwiched with Swiss cheese, sausage and egg, Canadian bacon, American cheese dipped in a batter and deep fried --- OMG an artery clogger but super delish!!

I also like cheese curds and strawberry/banana smoothie

And, I always pick up some State Fair Taffy outside the Education Bldg on the way home.  And it has to has to has to be the State Fair Taffy, not the other one

I found this list to check out new foods for this year!

I remember riding some cool fair rides with Ms SG & friends a while back... I would love to do it again!!

Anything bacon, ice cream, or donuts, or cajun :) I will be going to try everything

I've lived here just under 5 years now and I think that I need to change this!  Being originally from Maine we don't have a State Fair, we have a regional fair, The Big E, which represents all of New England.  I always made it a point to have a Pot Roast Sundae.  Nothing says yummy than a bowl of mashed potatoes & gravy, corn and topped with the a huge pile of tender pot roast!!!!

Great now I'm hungry.

I can't decide what I want to try once I'm in there.  Not to mention, I need at least $100 for food and rides, or it's no fun.  I think it's been at least five years since I've actually had a "State Fair budget."

Preferably without the hair!
