I never understood why one feels obligated to put that info in a review.

Two reviews in the past day that were unnecessarily specific about where the provider's incall was located.

If the incall is at 1234 main st, any town, mn - near the corner of state and main - 5 miles west of mpls - how descriptive do you think it should be to be helpful, but not harmful? Part of this board is to help out fellow hobbyists, so we want to be helpful. If I see the review and it says 'outside of town' I'd like to know how far and what side of town.

Using the information I've provided, give me your opinions (not just a question to only vorlon)

General. Near a landmark, but not too much.  Use the language they use in their ad.
NE burbs
5 mins from downtown
MOA area

IMO those are vague, yet helpful.
If she's too far away, find someone closer.

My opinion is that you are being willfully cantankerous or you're a dope.

....and your opinion of me, instead of an answer to the question, was helpful in what way...?

Such as northwest suburbs, etc.  Enough to give other hobbyists the direction and some approximate distance from where they are without giving anything specific to unfriendly eyes.

I always see providers at the center of the universe.  Then they move away.

I never understood why one feels obligated to put that info in a review.

for regulars, knowing which location people are at can tell you way more than a review. I like discreetness, but there are certain places I'm done with. (and others I'd gladly go)

I agree that too specific is not good.  It is always most important to protect her...always.

But I can tell you that when I scan the new reviews I am going down the location column looking for "northern suburb" or a city north of Minneapolis.  If "Minneapolis" is being entered as the location when really they are 20 miles north of Minneapolis then the review does not help me at all.

If I see "Northern Suburb" I can send a pre-screen request from P411 so that girl knows immediately that I'm not LE and then she and I can decide how much to disclose about her location in our conversation.

I don't need specifics...but I like to see enough to know that she is in south Minneapolis, for example, or even "southern suburb"

The other piece of information I look for in reviews is if her incall is an apartment, private residence or hotel.  I don't do hotels for my safety.

I have seen providers south of Minneapolis but I may need to set aside 4 hours in a day to do that.  So location is important to some of us.

Being too descriptive is how unsavory people(Le &stalkers) find where providers are. I am always more than happy to give you my general location after you have been screened. Some ladies work out of their homes and not a static incall so we have to be mindful of that when giving too descriptive locations.

Let's just keep it each other safe and have fun doing.

notify the providers, reviewers, or moderators to try to get the review edited?
Some reviewers do not know better.  (At least one thinks it is cute or makes him look knowledgeable.)
Many providers are unaware of what is in their reviews.
(Moderators will not act on this unless pushed.)

Specificity is a hazard to all of us. Women can speak for themselves.  Guys, some locations are shared by several providers.  Raising the location profile can put them under surveillance.

I never name a LE jurisdiction; I simply say metro area or if it is out of town a bit, north or south metr

I sent a PM to one reviewer; for whatever reason I'm having a hard time locating the other one.  Hopefully that means it was already fixed.

I think incall apt or hotel is helpful.

In the metro, cardinal directions and rough portions of the broader metro area are specific enough.  Outside urban areas this is an even bigger issue.
