I scoped out a couple that advertise in the back of CityPages. I'm hesitant to go to these since it seems that one that advertises so much either doesnt "provide" what I'm looking for, or they do and will be highly survailed.
I didn't see any way to specifically search for AMP here. What's the best way to find the better ones?
At the risk of being pelted with "Read the Newbie board" responses.....is there some good advice here or elsewhere on etiquette, and reducing risk when visiting an AMP?

When someone said you sounded suspiciously like LE a few weeks ago, I just chalked it up to a bit of paranoia. But geeze, man, you have been nosing around for weeks now. When I got into this I had my first encounter scheduled like three days after I paid for VIP -- without asking anyone anything.
I must have missed somebody saying I was suspicious I was too busy looking for the answers here to notice.

AMPs are typically staffed by middle-aged Chinese women. Some have younger and some are a bunch of independents who happen to be Asian. They are called rub n tug for a reason because that's about it. FS and BJ are the exception, not the rule and often not possible without multiple visits to the same MP. Some places are just massage and never stray no matter how many times one visits.
Walk-in places are the least likely to have extras. Appointments may increase likelihood of extra -HJ. Establishments by appointment only at an undisclosed location are outside of what I think you are referring.
Risk? If you ask for it, you are at risk. If it happens without asking or negotiation, then low risk. The MPs that offer more usually will provide signals within a session.
In an AMP it is 100% about you and you can enjoy. In other provider scenarios, your participation may be expected or required.
Total cost and tipping is low, so it's a great value for some attention and relief. Risk of disease is low.

Totally off, they'll basically say it outright $40 for this, $80 for that? I'd hoped it would be more like: Girl - massage is $50. Me- Ok here's $90, make me "happy"

Make a decision set an appointment and go. If your worried about wasting $$$. Get used to it or this probably isnt for you.
Not me. Been there, done that, recently enough that I totally relate to your quandary. I didn't have VIP when I got started, which I accomplished by going through new reviews (using a 20 review minimum as my "experienced provider" threshold), and looking for enough "i'd repeat" endorsements in the general details before making first contact. Decide what screening info you're comfortable revealing, and go from there. You have the right idea of getting VIP first, as the additional details available - and private messaging - can make the process much more efficient & less frustrating. Good luck.

If you are talking strictly AMP, then these places are very visible and don't require references. English is low to fair.
The more expensive and discreet, the higher the requirement for references.
I'm not familiar with citypages' ads, so no advice. BP is the place to look to get a better understanding of the provider landscape. A general guide is that massage may include HJ. Body rubs is HJ with possibility of hotter provider, nudity and other things. Escort is the full Monty. Body rubs may require references and escorts typically will.
If you provide references and are accepted, you may not have to be subtle about your desires within the session.
