In other cities like Philly and NY, there is definitely a moderate inflation from my experience. But there is no way to compare the value now and then because there were no reviews and no pictures to compare. I recalled booking my first outcall in a DC hotel from a yellow page ad and I could only get a verbal description of the lady. Another time I booked from the yellow page and I got a cash and dash ripoff.

Who cares about the past. There were no reviews and you just rolled the dice. This is much better. I do not care about the information is presented as long as the information is good, reliable and accurate.

There were also magazine classifieds. I cannot remember the name, but there was a magazine dedicated to the hobby that you could find in adult stores. You could find providers through that but the success rate was iffy.
