More like a part time passion.
However I do enjoy being retired and traveling and when ever possible fishing in the surf and rating bikinis as they go by. You would be surprised at how many ladies are interested in your catch.

By the time we reach the 60 and Over qualification for the Ultimate Hobby (UH), I suppose we have all had other hobbies.Have any of those hobbies meshed with UH?  In my lifetime I have pursued numerous ways to enjoy life. Some of mine included hunting and fishing because of my dad's love of them. But the one hobby that gave and still gives me pleasure is art and photography and it has added to the UH.

I'll bet that comes in handy unscrambling cross-dressing puzzling providers LOL

At my age, time and health is the issue, I have to put my UH life into overdrive, catch up mode per say, maximize it to extinction. Urgency dictates and tells me, why bother wasting time for any other activities, I have to make sure to gather enough UH numbers in order, to get in to the Pearly Gates, just in case. I don't want to be rejected by the gatekeeper and tells me SORRY DUDE "you didn't DO enough" and got kick down, stuck in purgatory. And that will be really sucks....

UH Life??? I assume it has to do with religeon and not Ultimate  Hoops

I am among those who likes his job and - so - I plan to give it my all for as long as I feel useful.

Other than that, I watch way too much Netflix in between sessions ;-

Then there is scotch, cigars & good friends as well.

It's more of a lifestyle choice... When I'm not chasing skirts, I'm working out or riding my Harley, but I don't consider either of those activities hobbies either. They're all essential to my well being and are part of my plan to never grow old.

A lot of hobbies have come and gone over the years like fishing, photography, building model airplanes, just to name a few.  Playing guitar (fingerstyle) is also one of my longtime hobbies, but I just play for my own amusement.  I also like combining the UH with my other hobby, traveling.  I decided to take an early retirement, so I have more time these days.

I'm also just shy of the big 6-0 which arrives in May, so I'll probably be checking out this forum more often too. LOL

...is sailing. I've had lots of excellent dates who were willing to come down to the Marina and party with me on my sailboat.  I also enjoy RVing and the RV is also a very cozy mobile love nest for dates!

when the house is rockin'... Don't bother knockin'...

working outside is relaxing for me . I recently moved from a house I rented for 8 years and totally taken the yard from barren dry weeds to a lush oasis. Got a 30 day notice in July by September they bulldozed the house with all my beautiful roses, flowering trees and tropical plants. I was devastated to see that and shed a few tears for their demise. New house huge yard and plenty of time to do the same to this property.

varies among the "hobbyists"  My definition is "an activity done regularly in one's leisure time for pleasure."

I am with you.  I incorporate photography with, as you call it, the ultimate hobby. I find that this REALLY adds to the hobby. The challenge is finding a party partner that is both photogenic and not camera shy.  They are rare, but I have found a few over the years.  When I find one, I tend to repeat quite often for both the physical therapy and the photo modelling sessions.  And of course, I do not post or pass photos to protect the innocent.

I have not seen a lot of providers but, with one exception who I saw once and it wasn't a good experience, I have photographed or made videos of them. Several of them used the stuff we made in their ads or websites.Recently, because of my health I have deleted all the images and videos from my computers.

I live in a beautful old house with massive perennial gardens, and I love it. My garden has meshed with this one when I bring a flower to the lady I'm seeing and tell her I grew it just for her.   Always brings a smile.

Two blocks from a river with bicycle trails that go for way more miles than I ever could.  Volunteer at the food pantry a couple of days a week, coffee with my retired buddies in the morning.

And  since we have winter where I live, I'm finally getting back to finishing that model railroad I started in high school.  It's been in boxes for about 40 years since my Dad packed it up to get his basement back while I was gone in the Army.

I live high in the Colorado rockies So I am very active out doors.

I love to kayak.  I have graduated to a long slim slippery boat that is easy to flip and flip back A long trip upstream using the river's flow to get back is a wonderful day.
I am a history buff and give guest lectures at a local private school. They have asked me to do a honors course on European history covering the first half of the twentieth century covers both World wars, events leading up and after math.  When I ever retire I will do that.
I like to do four and five days too its with My son and youngest daughter (both sports fans so usually to see Phillies or Sixers play in a nice place) and I love to take the older grandkids (7 to 13) on long week end trips

I've always enjoyed working out combined with some type of martial art. I'm not talking about MMA here just something to keep the mind sharp, the body relatively flexible and reflexes intact. At my age a lot of hard contact is unwise but one can always do Muay Thai or boxing pad-drills, light wrestling or Judo, and the ever so popular Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.  Doing these in your 60's will not transform someone into Billy Bob bad ass but they will help keep you in shape. It's analogous to basketball. You don't have to be Michael Jordan to enjoy the game, just participate at a speed and intensity level that's right for you
